By this logic, do we eliminate the disability based subdivisions within the Paralympics? They're inherently unfair, after all. Hell, let's throw out the entire Paralympics! Let's abolish it! They should just compete with abled athletes, after all. That's what's fair and honorable!

We can also just stop dividing sports that require the same abilities. Like, why is there beach volleyball and regular volleyball? There should only be one? Who cares if the athletes that trained all their lives for a specific subdiscipline get fucked? This is all about seeing who is Objectively The Best. It's not like sports and sporting competitions are very limited constructed scenarios with a very limited set of rules that change all the time and aren't just based on pure ability. No, no, this is about who is The Strongest (mostly in sports better suited for cis men). So let's do away with all that.

Reminds me of this shit I just saw. Yeah it’s easy to say “it’s not a big deal. Get over it” about something only women are affected by because women have been excluded, expected to accommodate other people, and silenced our whole lives. What if there were no special Olympics and people with disabilities were just expected to compete alongside abled athletes? Then when they expressed their grievances the response was “it’s just sports it’s not that serious. Just say you suck and take the L.” Why should exceptional female athletes have to be treated like they’re mediocre and risk sexual harassment and physical violence just so you can feel like “girls are exactly the same as boys” when that is not the case? It’s a very stupid hill to die on. Admitting women are different from men does not mean admitting women are inferior.

Also interesting how now men and boys are falling behind girls and women at academics and pursuing higher education at lower rates and that has become everyone’s problem. People are lowering the standards for male students, giving them preferential treatment and discussing how we can keep boys from slipping through the cracks. Girls have no innate biological advantage when it comes to school we just work harder!

how does "women can rape too" become rhetorically equivalent to men actually being 99% of rapists? women could rape, but we don't. that's the entire problem with men. no one is forcing them to rape women or children, they are choosing to rape. it proves women are better people because we could rape and abuse children at the rates men do and yet women as a class choose not to.

why can't men as a class do the same?

For like four months I've been saving my money to go to a nerdy convention with one of my best friends. We are both artists and connected over complaining about our college's new pro-AI crap. The convention is in a few days and I spent over a hundred bucks on tickets and I'm driving two hours to meet her and then I take a look at her Tumblr for the first time and she has like ten posts reblogged that are just AI generated images of stereotyped Jewish people beating up Palestinian children with a bunch of sock puppet "destroy Israel" gofundmes.......... fucking. okay.........
