"I know these will all be stories some day, and our pictures will become old photographs. We all become somebody’s mom or dad. But right now, these moments are not stories. This is happening. I can see it. This one moment when you know you’re not a sad story. You are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And you’re listening to that song, and that drive with the people who you love most in this world. And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite." -I always come crawling back to this quote.
Just finished 'Off Campus' absolutely lovedddd. I've prayed for times like these too, wdym they had a cast full of attractive people. It's actually monumental.
All universe's with destiny or not they were meant to be. I'm sick to my stomach.
"you wasn't here, I wasn't going to lose this place as well" I can't handle this mannnnn
Seeing Remus Lupin edits to Bigmouth strikes again fills me with pure bliss. Like yeah I know for a fact he didn't believe he had any right taking his place with the human race. I just love a fandom filled with pure pain and agony.
I sometimes find it so hard being parts of fandoms that are old, small or just had endings that weren't great (either sad or bad plot ending). There's of course a big part of me that loves it because then the fans make it grow and spiral into something amazingly painful. There's still always that desire for more left, the wish that it was canon. Part of me likes the feeling of desiring more, but that's probably because I'm part of fandoms that are tragic anyway so I thrive off the pain😭. Anyway this all spiralled off of me thinking about Merlin (bbc) again so of course there's truly no hope for me to even get a sequel or adaptation.
Just finished the other Bennet sister. Oh my god it was so good I absolutely loved it. I laughed, I got mad, I got upset and I was just in love with different moments. There was times when I really resonated with Mary Bennett.
In all honesty the new harry potter HBO series trailer made me cry. I have such mixed emotions. I'm excited to see how book accurate it will be but it just feels so wrong at the same time. I hate the colouring and I'm definitely not use to the characters looking like that (not that they look bad but I grew up with the movies so it's different!) I'm very excited to see how these kids portray these characters differently. Butttttt I still don't support jk rowling so that's another conflict. I'm still bummed that they decided to do a re-make rather than a development on another part of the universe but I guess I get taking the easy route. Idk it sounds dramatic but it was just hard to watch the trailer, Harry Potter means so much to me and been such a big part of my life it really felt like the end of the originals for some reason even though I know it still will exist. I think it's clear my brain is a little scattered with different feelings and emotions.
Grimm is actually so good I feel like it's not talked about enough. They just don't make shows like they did in the 2010s anymore.
Monroe from Grimm is so attractive. I'm re-watching and every time he's on screen he's getting hotter and hotter.
I finally gathered the courage to watch the new season on Bridgerton and wow I don't think I've cried on and off this much for a season since Queen Charlotte. I don't know there was just so many bittersweet moments. It really felt like an end of a chapter.
I saw someone mention how stoicks death was preventable because hiccup knew when to dodge toothless but his father didn't. For some reason this never crossed my mind, like obviously between the 5 years of hiccup and toothless being together he calculated his shot time, that's why he held his hand up to stop his dad, that's why he stood there waiting. Honestly I feel silly for it not ever crossing my mind before. I truly love being part of a fandom (even if this case it's actually painful)
'I was good, I was really good.' truly no way to recover from them being his last words. I feel so sick.
I just had a full sob watching videos about hiccup and toothless. I will never not hate the ending and how the characters personality changed so much throughout the movies and show. The way it ended and the shift in how the characters acted towards the end (last movie and the in the future scenes) is actually just soul shattering when you look back at the whole plot and the journey taken. I don't know why I love consuming media that causes me actually grief so much (in the most non dramatic way possible).
Still grieving BBC Merlin everyday.
