Soooo I watched Masters of The Universe and now I'm obsessed. He's literally my wife you guys.

2026 Adam/He-Man has officially stolen my heart and it’s wild that tumblr isn’t talking abt this guy. He’s a loser. He infodumps about his home planet on a first date and gets dumped immediately. He works in HR. He can’t drive. He gets mesmerized by his own abs. He’s convinced he can talk things out with the bad guys despite this never working once the entire film. He goes to the gym in a pink kitten sweater that says “alpha male.” He’s been arrested. He sneaks away to transform into he-man as if it’s a secret but literally everyone knows. He brought his earth roommate to eternia to prove he wasn’t crazy. He even killed Jared Leto. What a guy.

Scott was content with that for awhile. The admiring from afar thing. The staring problem. But, then it blossomed into something more. Something that, admittedly, scared Scott. It would happen during their arguments. It was no new development of Logan pushing Scott against walls or desks or tables — basically any nearby surface — whenever Scott successfully pissed him off. Usually, the whole pushy thing pissed him off even more in return. But then he started to like it. Started to look forward to it, even.

“Looky here, Slim,” Logan started, gripping the fabric of Scott’s suit and slamming him into a wall.

Scott let out a small oof sound and felt heat creep up his neck. That was new.

“I don’t know what kinda rodent crawled up your ass an’ died, but ya needta get it taken care of.” Logan’s voice was this deep growl and Scott swallowed harshly.

"Someone’s gotta run this team, Logan. And I don’t care if you don’t like how I do it. Last I checked, you didn’t really even care for this whole team thing,” Scott responded.

Logan’s nose wrinkled up into a snarl, something that Scott should have been scared of but… He just found it as another thing he admired of Logan. “You want me ta wear the hideous yellow suit one second, and the next you’re disregarding me from the team. So, what d’you want Pretty Boy?”

“I just want…” Scott trailed off. You, he thought.

You.

You.

You. Say it.

Logan, I want you.

Nate gets fired and dumped on the same day. Not really sure what else to do, he drops in on an old college friend — a friend he has a slightly criminal past with — and they quickly fall into their old ways. Inspired by Hope and Crosby “Road to” movies (and the animated “Road to El Dorado”), Nate and Artie are a couple of lovable, low-level con artists who set up a psychic scam that gets a little too real.

Car Accident

I saw a car accident today and it made me think of you

not the way metal folds not the scream of brakes or the glass scattering like tiny constellations across the asphalt

but the silence after

the way everything just stops

how people stand around unsure where to look or what to say like grief is something you're supposed to direct traffic around

I remember how you left no impact I could point to no moment I could replay and say there that's where it all went wrong

just a quiet collision of things unsaid and things I said too late

and suddenly I was standing in the wreckage holding pieces that didn't fit anymore

I saw a car accident today and it made me think of you

because some things don't explode they just break in ways you don't hear until long after everything's already stopped moving

and you're left staring at the damage wondering how something that once carried you so far ended up like this
