Hyperbolic Paraboloid Mechanic Articulated Paper Sculpture
Mechanic paper sculpture. Fully articulated, no glue. This is a hyperbolic paraboloid built by the rule z = x^2 - y^2 from which I devised the full shape for this sculpture. The mechanism lets the sculpture lie flat for easy transportation :). Thanks to Sergio Zepeda’s teachings from which I got the articulation mechanism.

In the midst of an origami tessellation. Based on Eric Gjerde‘s work.
Purple rounded origami sculpture based on a technique discovered by Thoki Yenn (I think) and later published by Kunihiko Kasahara. Kitty shown for scale comparison. (Nah, you know how cats are, he just demanded to jump there.)
Engel’s Penguin. Sandwitch paper.
The Octopus, designed by Peter Engel. I like to think of it rather as a Cthulhu. Below is the hand-painted sandwitch paper it came from. The yellow circles were made with a bottle-cap acting as a seal.
My version of the Koi fish by Robert Lang. Made with hand-painted sandwitch paper.
