"Who, me? Jeez, was it that obvious?"

"I guess you can’t really blame me, considering I’m pretty new to the city… do you think I could get a map somewhere around here or something?"

"Mind? No way, that would be awesome, thanks," Sayaka said, totally relieved. She followed a step behind him reliantly as he led the way, pleased to have found someone willing to guide her back home.

"Birdwatching, huh? That’s an interesting hobby… kind of outdated, in a way— I mean, I didn’t think many young people were into it nowadays."

A small chuckle escaped Xun's lips. "I have been fond of birds for as long as I can remember. My granduncle used to take me to a local park or the seaside to observe various bird species during migratory periods." He smiled serenely at the sight of several white doves flying by in the sunset-dyed sky above them, most likely on their way to deliver messages to the mayor.

Turning to face the blue-haired girl, he decided that a bit of idle chatter would help pass the time. "By the way, do you attend Toshi Academy as well? I am currently a 3rd year student there."

"Who, me? Jeez, was it that obvious?"

"I guess you can’t really blame me, considering I’m pretty new to the city… do you think I could get a map somewhere around here or something?"

"Oh, nowhere fancy, just heading home. I live in Jasmine Apartment, but it looks like I took a few wrong turns and ended up a far cry away from there. I guess I overestimated my sense of direction a bit. Could you tell me where I am, exactly?"

"You wound up quite some distance away, indeed. We are right by the River Park. I had just been bird watching there and am about to go home to Basil Apartment myself. Since all of the apartments are grouped in the center of the city, we should be going in the same general direction. Do you mind if I lead the way?"

"I just moved to Toshi not too long ago, so I understand. There are multiple maps on display at various points throughout the city and I believe you can find personal copies of them in the library. Is there a particular destination you are looking to go to?"

"My apologies, the restaurant is filled to capacity right now and we are doing our best to-" Xun stopped mid-sentence and twitched his eye at the customer's disrespectful behavior, but maintained his calm composure. "Excuse me, but I must ask you not to make a mess for your own amusement."

[ ꝩ ] ___ Waking up early was a rarity for Loki. There was never much need to, living a life devoid of obligations and responsibilities didn’t lend itself to early rising and thus he often slept in until well in the afternoon.

However, today was different. Today was special.

There had been a recent influx of new faces to the city— some familiar, others less so— and the redhead had unofficially dubbed himself the welcoming committee. That by itself required a well-traveled area and some choice tools.

He’d been up since the crack of dawn rigging together the most elaborate scheme he could come up with. It was as intricate as it was simple and the firestarter couldn’t have been prouder.

He popped a lollipop into his mouth and almost skipped to his hiding place.

Now, we wait.

It had been several days since Xun had moved into Basil Apartment, but between his schoolwork and part-time job, he hadn't been able to get to know his roommates very well yet. The two couldn't stand each other, he could tell that much at least.

The apartment felt quieter than usual this morning. Xun figured that IV had gone out already and expected to find Loki sleeping late as usual, but to his surprise, the redhead wasn't home at all. Odd, but he had no time to dwell on it or he would be late for school. Xun slipped on his backpack and locked the door before leaving for Toshi Academy on foot.

The sunlight and light breeze brushing on Xun's skin brought a smile to his face. Growing up in a place that had hot, humid summers made him appreciate warm days that didn't make everything feel sticky.

The density of pedestrians grew when he began to pass through the city's market district filled with early-bird shoppers. "Excuse me- pardon me!" He repeated as he took care not to bump into anyone. Perhaps he should have taken a different route to school today.

A familiar sound is heard over the intercom. Announcements like this haven’t been frequent since the headmaster had been absent for more than half of the school year. But this notice was unusually familiar, and the voice had chimed cheerfully once about the courtyard.

"Greetings students and staff. Welcome back from your long Easter weekend. I do hope that you have had a splendid time with your family and friends and so forth. I do know that most of you are much too old for egg hunts, but what about bunny hunts?

That’s correct, throughout the school there are little hopping rabbits, and a few chicks here and there- roaming our lovely school lost! I couldn’t keep them in the box enough to actually pile them in the courtyard, so I need your help students! They could be any where!

And please be careful no to step on them… Thank you~

OH! Also…. That horse standing in the courtyard? He’s not part of this search. And please don’t feed him..”

Hey everyone- I decided that since Toshi didn’t have a little Easter event, it was time that I brought in Tsukitachi’s more… mischievous side out again. Although- he was going to just gather cute Easter-related animals in the courtyard, he tripped and he lost them all. So he needs some students help to find them all.

This will kind of be like that treasure hunt the mayor held a while ago. Just tag your “finding the buns” posts with #toshiacademy and either myself (possibly after work) or Hibari-mun will answer with whether or not you found one of them or not.

No you don’t get to keep the bunnies or chicks because we already have too many being circulated around toshi as it is and your muses don’t need anymore. plus they’re rentals.

Just a heads up though- some of the posts won’t be answered until tomorrow or Wednesday at the very most. But I will try my best to answer them to the best of my ability.

☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?

If he doesn’t have an umbrella or anything else on hand to shield him from the rain, he will dash very quickly to the nearest overhead surface that can cover him and check to make sure that his belongings aren’t soaked. Especially not his lighter and matches.

He hasn’t really thought about romance or dating because he is so focused on academics, but that could change if he meets someone special.

His worst fear is of something awful happening to his remaining family members while he’s away. He still remembers the sorrow of losing his parents at young age and does not know if he could bear to lose more.

At times he wishes that he had rougher, more masculine facial features. Then maybe he would be taken more seriously by those who see him as just a dainty pretty boy.

Lu Meng, his favorite teacher from back at home.

Due to his humble nature, he tends to respond praise with statements such as “Oh no, I still have much to learn” or “I’m still inexperienced”, but he graciously appreciates it and allows it to fuel his confidence.

He hasn’t been in Toshi long enough to really dislike anyone yet, although he is getting suspicious vibes from one of his roommates, IV.

Xun had been studying indoors all day and couldn't help but be curious about the white-haired man within view of his apartment window, standing and staring as though he were in a trance. He put his pencil down and walked out of the building towards the man, overhearing him utter some kind of cryptic whisper. "Excuse me, sir... but are you feeling well?"

A hum rumbled from his throat as he thought for a second or two, lips pursing and eyebrows furrowing before he nodded, “Yep! I can lead you there if you want, I’m not good at explaining how to get there, aha.” Tenma rubbed the back of his head a bit sheepishly.

"Follow me and I’ll get you there. And don’t worry, the city is big, you’ll know your way around soon enough!"

"Are you sure you don't mind? Thank you very much." Xun took the boy up on his offer and followed behind him. "I came all this way from eastern China, so I'm also experiencing some culture shock. Thankfully, the size of the city shouldn't hinder me for long since my hometown is just as large." 

Xun took in a deep breath of the fresh spring air and exhaled in contentment as he walked along the shady tree-lined sidewalk. One of the first things he had noticed about Toshi was how much cleaner the air was compared to home, where air pollution in the big cities was still a problem.

He opened his mouth to ask the boy more about the city, but paused when he realized that he hadn't asked his name yet. "Oh, I nearly forgot to introduce myself. I am Lu Xun. And you are...?"

Xun let out a sigh when it became clear that he had been walking in circles for the past several minutes. If only every location were as easy to find as his apartment was. When he heard a stranger's sudden greeting, he turned around to see a younger boy smiling at him. "Oh, good day." He smiled back at the boy. "I'm sorry to trouble you, but would you happen to know where Edamame Library is? I just recently moved here and do not know my way around the city yet."
