UPDATE

I’m going to be remaking Lux. Url will be the same and everything, but I want to say something:

Unless you contact me to ask to keep our thread/s, I will be dropping them.

Doesn’t matter if we’ve plotted them, you really need to let me know. This isn’t because of you guys, it’s because I can’t keep up, I’m overwhelmed and because to be perfectly frank I haven’t been playing Lux quite how I want to, but over Christmas and the past couple months I’ve really been digging into her character and I just want to explore her more - but just with a fresh start.  I’m giving you guys roughly a week to let me know - I’ll already have remade Lux before that, but I’ll be moving any of the threads that need to be over the course of the week, so you’ve got a while.

People have lives that take priority over you and your hunger to roleplay with them. 

Some people have shit going on in their lives that hinders their ability to focus, channel their muse, and write you a response.

There are people who are naturally perfectionists and write for quality, not quantity, so it might take a fucking while.

Most people roleplay for the fun of it, and when people like you get pissy and impatient for not writing you a response on your clock, they tend to feel pressured, stressed, and perhaps even a bit resentful, and therefore they become a lot less inclined to give you what you fucking want.

A “month”? Bitch, you don’t know waiting, then. It can take six months to a year before I respond to certain threads that I’ve drafted, and I’ve made no illusions of that to those who want to play with me, and they are terribly understanding and cool with it. Go write fanfiction if waiting on others is too much for you to handle.

okay, it’s decided. I’ve let my drafts rise to a point where I can no longer manage them and they’re just adding to my stress. So, what I’m going to do is drop most of my unplotted threads. I won’t be dropping any of the ones I’ve plotted, though I may keep some of the unplotted ones if I have muse.

hey! I’m going into town to try to clear my mind, but I’ll be back in a bit. I don’t think I’ll be replying much today, but we’ll see. It all depends. I’m kinda in the mood to just draw and paint really, but I’ll still be around on im. I’m sorry for being so inactive and taking so many breaks. My mental heath hasn’t really been very good at all and it’s been scaring me a lot. I’m also considering dropping threads - just the non-plotted ones/ones I just can’t face, but again, we’ll see.

okay reminder …listen ….. your mental, physical & emotional health + personal life is way more important than posting a reply a day or forcing yourself to be active . not only is it unhealthy for you & giving you anxiety + stress, but 90% of the time there’s a large creative strain . really friendos . take your time . please take a day for yourself if you’re feeling overwhelmed ! replies & asks can wait . they’ll most likely be there when you get back & once you’ve had time to yourself the words will pool out way more naturally because you allowed yourself to do them as opposed to force yourself to.
