“Buck.” A familiar voice, distant. Someone has a tight grip on his face, stabilising his head on his shoulders, and Buck thrashes, crying out when he jerks his ankle. “Shit.” Buck senses movement, and then the pressure of legs bracketing his waist, forcing him to still. “Buck,” the voice says again, louder, and Buck opens his eyes. Eddie pats his cheek, staring down at him with a frown. “Hey, hey,” Eddie soothes. “You’re safe. It’s just me.”
