For anyone who hasn't watched this show, you really must (on Netflix in the US). As you can see, it's beautifully shot in black and white on location in Italy and Andrew Scott's performance is amazing. A completely different feel from the 1999 movie, The Talented Mr. Ripley, with Jude Law and Matt Damon.
