You’ll be fine then. Just carry one around with you all day. I hide one under my desk at work.
If only blankets worked with water, my job would be a lot warmer.

asher-mccarthy:
You sound like a perfect hibernation partner. All of that sounds like the best way to spend a day. I’ll be calling you up on my next day off for sure!
Who new cold weather could bear the beginning of beautiful friendships?
gradianmax:
I got that to look forward to then, I guess.
I swear, you’ll blink and you’ll be there. It’s crazy, but fuck man, it’s amazing.
gradiansamevans:
I’m torn between saying yes and no because yes it would be super cool to find out but also no because it would be so cold.
Alright, hear me out — think about the penguins.
gradianmax:
Can’t believe my kid is almost four months old now. My kid. Fucking wild, still. Anyone know if I’m still going to be having these ‘wow, i’m a fucking dad’ moments when she’s like 18?
Ugh, 4 months, that age felt like it was yesterday and yet it feels like years have passed at the same time. I think it’s just going to be a series of those moments over and over, the age they are is just different every time. It’s always the exact same moment every time, relived approximately once a fortnight.
emymontgomery:
Are you trying to make me your sugar daddy? Because that’s not really my style.

Are you offering? Just kidding, I was raised to work for what you want, but I won’t turn down the odd treat here and there — but don’t worry, i’ll always repay the favour.
gradiansamevans:
I wonder if the North Pole is even this cold. Surely it can’t be.
Maybe we need to go on an expedition and find out for ourselves.
asher-mccarthy:
This is why I hate leaving my place any day the sun isn’t out.
I volunteer as hibernation partner any day of the week. Blankets, pillows, movies, and good convo? Count me in.
patrick-stclarington:
Invest in a lot of blankets, that’s the best advice I have.
Already one step and seven blankets ahead of you, honey.
gradiansamevans:
I think it should be advertised more how cold it is here because I don’t think people really understand until they get here.
Heaven knows I was not prepared, like i’ve already spent some serious dollar on fleece throws, I think this was England, not the North Pole.
ghcstfm:
do I need to explain the terminology of ‘baked’
You’re going to bake in this? It’s like 16 degrees.
Well, Gradian is definitely a change of scenery. Missing the simple beach life already. Also what is it with this weather? Is it always this cold?
enriquebobenny:
She won’t suffocate in them? She’s going to need so many layers…. I actually don’t really know what you mean. I mean as long as she’s safe and warm.

What? No, it’a like a big bodysuit with a head hole.
ghcstfm:
clearly you’re mad because I was absolutely fucking baked, bot physically and mentally.
I’m having a real hard time seeing where that comes into the conversation, but kudos to you.

I’m sure you’ll acclimate, just give it time. In the meantime, think of all the adorable winter outfits we can find for Daisy — i’ve also wanted to get one of those puffy winter onesie things, what are they called? Oh, you know what I mean.
evanmcintosh:
I really think i need someone to show me around Gradian from another point of view. I keep going back to the same places and half of those i can’t even be since the whole sobriety. Someone help.

The only point of view I have to offer is that of someone who has 0 idea of where anything is yet, so I think that makes me kind of useless here.
emymontgomery:
Definitely a shocking difference. Maybe a shopping spree is in the books?

Are you buying, Mr Moneybags? Don’t think I don’t know that face.
Okay, I knew that the north of England was going to be pretty significantly cooler than Madeira, but I can safely say I was underprepared, and defo feeling the difference. I got those goosebumpy legs going on right now, like damnnn.
