So I think it's definitely one of Sabo's pokemon. Maybe that's his starter. It reminds him of Luffy when he was a crybaby and kept calling his name.

I think Ace's starter would be torchic or charmander. And Luffy's would be grookey or chimchar cuz monkey.

I also think that Sabo would have a tinkatink cuz metal pipe.

I think he’s probably from one of the experiments of the celestial dragons. He was probably made for some purposes. Maybe his red nose is the proof, and MAYBE, the real reason he got "ill" when approaching the one piece, which is also something the world government tries to cover.

We saw baby Shanks accidentally got split up with Shamrock. So maybe he'll meet baby Buggy later. He was crying after being separated from his brother, so maybe he'll stopped crying after meeting Buggy and started smiling? Dragon would think maybe Buggy could be his new brother and decided to save him too (also because of him being the celestial dragon's victim)

Love the idea of moonscorched from funger so hard that I wanna see strawhats and other op characters in moonscorched version😔

Sanji's helmet from his childhood memory will be there. In my imagination he'll look like Griffith from berserk after being torchered. OR he became a killer robot that has no face and feeling, and that helmet is his head.

Others... still thinking. NEED MORE INSPIRATION!!

I tried to draw Sanji and Chopper. I haven't come up with Sanji's moonscorched name, but I think Chopper's would be "chimera" or "faceless."

Chopper's is based on his fear of being unable to fit in. His moonscorched form is a combination of many creatures, but he belongs to none of them. His nose, the first thing that makes him unable to fit in, becomes the only thing on his "face" since to him, that's the only thing those deers see him.

Sanji's has no arm, and his legs become blades. His head is based on his old helmet, and I tried to make it look like a 6. This form is based on his fear of becoming an emotionless killing machine like his sibling and unable to do the things he loves with his hand, such as cooking.

So uh, I'm doing some research about the age of discovery and sailors these days, for my graduation project. I'm also addicted to One Piece, and I found something interesting in the research.

I'd like to share them as trivia for inspiration of fanart and fanfic. If there're anything wrong pls do tell in the comment. If you know more about it, feel free to share them. :D

They only got 10 members, but there's a lot of positions on a ship. Oda already gave each of them one, but obviously that's not the only thing they do on the ship. I'm not trying to say that "This is what they suppose to do." or "That is worng. This is right." It's just something I found interesting and reminds me of the straw hats.

Here goes:

The cook of the ship does more than just cooking a delicious and nutritious meal. Besides that they need to plan the menu for days, arrange food storage, grocery shopping...... Not to mention the amount of food the straw hats will have in a day, and how long and tiring it is to prepare a meal for many. Sanji would probably ask someone to help him with it, but he's the one in charge so he still got a lot to do. Just look at them when Sanji left in the whole cake arc

Besides doctor and surgeon, the second mate will also help with medical problem, especially first aid. And the 2nd mate is also the one that's in charge of navigation. If the crew needs serious medical help, they needs to make sure the crew can hold on until they dock in the nearest port to find hospital and doctor. The space on the ship is limited, so they can't bring too much medical device. I remember there's a scene that Nami saved someone with her first aid skill before Chopper joined. What the 2nd mate do reminds me of that

Shipwright is not a common position on the ship, but there are similar role. In modern age, there's one department that is very close to what he's doing, the engineer department. During the age of discovery, there'll be carpenter. They need to make sure that every parts of the ship is okay to sail. Usually there'll be a lot of members in the engineer department in a ship with mechanical and electrical system cuz there's a lot of work for a lot of positions. But welp, it's Franky we're talking about. he's SUUUUPER (but I think Usopp will help him since he also know how to maintain a ship. Before Franky joined, he seems to be the one doing that
