SW: So we’re putting him with Ian because Ian is our token gay character and there’s no way we can have more than one non-minor gay relationship or character in our show because we already have enough representation for them haha. I mean come on, one major gay couple equals 5+ major straight couples right?? Wouldn’t want to upset the balance so we have to get rid of Mickey in an OOC way by demonizing him so an OOC Ian (who we will insist is a precious child even though we write him as a complete asshole now) and Caleb can love each other but Ian isn’t really OOC because we’re totally writing his bipolar disorder right! We know what we’re talking about when we talk about what it’s like to be bipolar because being bipolar means you 100% turn into a completely different person with literally none of your old traits :)

SW: It wasn’t out of character and there was no way we could’ve left any hope for Gallavich by finding a way around that!!! We’re not that creative!!!

SW: Sure, we could’ve at the very least given you a polyamorous gay couple that developed over time or something instead of throwing away the gay representation we’ve given you for five seasons and ACTUALLY let gays in media be content for once, but instead we’re just gonna’ throw in the cliché gay angst which sometimes includes sex (since tragedy and sex are all we know how to write when it comes to gays) to make you hate Caleb for OOC Ian throwing Mickey away from him! Congratulations, now you hate the way we write all the gays except for Mickey, who we don’t even write anymore :)
(Most)Ant!-g@ll@v!ch fans: Yas get rid of the gay!!! This representation between Ian and Caleb won’t even matter because none of the gallavich shippers will post about it! We’ll barely have to see any boys with boys anymore and instead can focus on Fiona with her boyfriends she’s got no chemistry with and Lip with who knows who the fuck he’ll mess it up with this time :))) More Frank having nasty relationships!!!

We’re upset because Frank along with everyone else is always forgiven for every little shameless thing they do, and now you’re somehow trying to make Mickey- who didn’t do shit nearly as bad as most of the characters- sound like he’s permanently the bad guy? It’s poor writing, and you’re making the one gay couple in your show have a stereotypical trope of being tragic and demonized. Besides, the other main characters are over negatively out of character as well, and there’s no character development explaining why-
