Dear Diary,

My mums created a Whatsapp group called "Budapest updates" so she can tell the family and her friends about her holiday as its happening and I'm getting notifications every 2 seconds about mundane things like where she's fucking walked and how far or what she's eaten or about to eat and Iv tried turning off all my Whatsapp notifications in settings but for some reason it's not working so now I just have to deal with my mums friends popping up with messages like "ooooo looks lovely. enjoy!! Xxx" and "hope the weather is up to the Susan-standard!! Xx" and other such phrases that middle aged women use on social media platforms.
