Lyle JOSHUA East, Thirty-nine, Hunger, Dougie Poynter, CLOSED

Hunger; that feeling or desire of food. A feeling no man or living thing on this planet in general knows more then Lyle East. The once awkward boy now has now accepted his actual name rather than going by ‘Josh’ as he did when he was quirky teen. When people think of Josh one many things come to mind, He was a friend to everyone, always smiling and happy to help anyone in need. The blonde was a caring soul who would take a bullet for just about anyone, but those who knew Josh well knew the pain he was hiding behind that beautiful smile of his. On the night of December 14th, 2010 the man had lost his entire family due too his mother’s mental health finally taking it’s toll on her and causing the women to commit a horrid crime leaving Lyle the only one alive in his family. To this day the memories still haunt his nightmares, the regret still eats away at his entire being. But now a days, Josh has something more to regret then just a death wish. For you see, he’s not the man he promised he would be, He’s changed for what seems to be the worst.

During his darkest hours Josh had fallen in love with Wallace East, their was love was more pure and real than anything. It was the kind of love novels portrayed and people wish they could obtain. To say the least they were made for each other. There relationship had been tested over the years, mostly when Josh went away to Kansas State to get his Doctors degree. Even though his father wanted him to be a football player, Josh chose his own route. The blonde wanted to be a doctor his life had been saved so many times it was time for him to return the favor. After graduating, Josh married Wallace and the two eventually settled down in their little Kansas town adopting two beautiful baby girls. For once in his life things were starting to go right. He had the job of his dreams, a beautiful family and the love of his life. What more could someone ask for?

Now a days Lyle is singing a different tune about his life. The man is basically a stranger too not only his family, but his friends. He isn’t the Josh people once knew and loved. Sure he can still tell you the exact thought process behind Einstein’s biggest theory and still is a bottomless pit of a man, but his priority’s were far more different than that little blonde lad with braces had. Josh had put his job before his own family always missing special events or just the little things that happened in his daughters life. His absence had taken a toll on his eldest daughter Vanessa more than it did Mckayla, but it still hurt knowing he didn’t have that bond with Vanessa. The girl doesn’t even look at Josh as her father, just a man who lives in her house and eats their food. His changed ways had not only effected his kids it effected his marriage the most. Despite how perfect they were for each other, or how in love they once were, Josh’s marriage to Wallace has slowly started to crumble,it has been for the past few years but Josh was too blind to realize it until now things were wrong. Losing Wallace would be like the end of the world for Josh as selfish as it might sound, he needs the older male — He’s his rock. Lyle understands he’s not the perfect father, husband or human in general but that doesn’t mean he can try to save what he has let in life before it all goes away completely; And that’s what he intends on doing.
