I have seen many a ships in fandom where the characters barely even feel like friends, nonetheless boyfriends.

But oh my god Belfort and Lupin are one ship I can say feel insanely, unapologetically gay for each other. Their relationship is so well written. The show in general is incredibly well written.

I cannot sing enough praises about this show. I generally don't care for romance, but I am incredibly invested in these two. They're so tender and care for each other in a way that feels lacking in a lot of relationships in media, both romantically and platonically.

(also this might be a case of mild mistranslation but I feel like the show and the characters in the "La Visite de Sita" episode were cheekily implying that Belfort and Lupin were in a romantic, or romantic-adjacent, relationship)

I watched a random tweet about a cartoon with two french dogs that seems VERY gay and it's an upcoming cartoon and even one of the person who worked on it said it sounded gay on purpose and apparently queer people were involved in its creation so YEP
