"Also, I want to say thank you to my wife. Your fierce mind brought me back many times. I owe you more than I can think of"
Those words said by Joe Burrow after winning The Most Valuable Player of the Years broke the internet. For two simple reasons:
1. He won the MVP, the most important award in the NFL.
2. Joe Burrow is married. When? How? Where?
We know he's been dating Y/N, an entrepreneur and philanthropist working for the UNESCO and Saving Lives; global organizations that help people around the globe. Also known as Amal Clooney of the NFL due to her elegance and style, she prefers to keep her head down most of the times, leaving all the spotlight to Burrow. They are a low-key couple, both very private about their relationship, maybe that's why we never saw the engagement ring.
Joe and Y/N met through Joe's mom, Robin Burrow at a charity event held by The Joe Burrow Foundation. They hit it off apparently, and were spotted together dining at one of the most exclusive restaurant in Ohio one week later.
The first reactions were intense, such an unusual pair they were. Many people didn't bet for a long term relationship, even less marriage. That's why this is such a surprise!
Joe has spoken briefly about their relationship in some interviews, due to this we know she's plays the piano, likes cats, and convinced Joe to read more. Joe hard-launched their relationship posting pictures about their trip to Paris, including a romantic dinner and a picture of them in a library. Meanwhile, Y/N has done comments too, though is not a frequent thing.
Mama Burrow made some comments in the past. On "When We Talk Podcast" she mentioned how stable was Joe with Y/N and how happy she was that "someone could understand him, and read him as well". On another interview, she told us she was hoping to be a grandmother in the future. Maybe her dreams will come true now.
Even Jamarr Chase, comment on it. "He's gonna kill me, but he's happy, you can tell, and he talks a little bit about it too. I'm glad he has someone else on his corner, yeah"
They been together four years, and expanded the reach of Joe's Foundation, moving to cities outside Cincinnati and Athens. This expansion got a nomination to Walter Payton Man of the Year for Joe.
"Actually, Y/N is such a core piece of this organization, that her name should be there too" he said, sheepish smile.
Since they're married now, we hope that one day some of them share a little bit about the wedding. According to my sources, it was small and private.
We wish the best for the newlyweds, and recovery to the girls that were waiting on line.
