I discovered that I had received an unexpected chunk of money from something I had assumed wouldn't yield anything but you miss every shot you don't take. As I hadn't seen that kind of money on my bank account, I went on to investigate, and found that I had received that exact amount of money, and the reason I hadn't seen it was because 92,3% of that money had immediately been swallowed up by a bill I had forgotten was due this month. By sheer dumb luck alone, I survive my own incompetence.
