Here it is, anon! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it ❤️

"I fought so hard to get you and thank god I can finally rest." For Becca x MC
Pairing: Becca x MC
Prompt: “I fought so hard to get you and thank god I can finally rest.”
Word Count: 2400+
Summary: Becca and Jennifer throw a housewarming party in their new apartment, celebrating getting a new apartment and Becca’s five year anniversary of becoming a lawyer. The girls find themselves dancing, talking, and reminiscing on the good ol’ times.
A/N: Requests are open if you’re interested! Rules and Prompts here!
Thank you for reading! I hope you like it 🫶🏻🩷

“Cheers!”
A group of young adults clink their glasses together, all of them sharing bright smiles before throwing back shots of tequila and whiskey, a few grimaces and a few excited whoops following the shots. All of the friends jittery with excitment, everyone being ecstatic to see one another after all this time separated from one another.
They’re so obvious, no subtlety whatsoever 💀
Randomly thought of becca biceps today #godbless
Becca: You look good in that hoodie.
MC: You know where else I'd look good?
Becca, zero hesitation: My bed.
MC, at the same time: By your side- wait, what?
Say what you want about the freshman series but every tongue that rises against Becca Davenport shall fall
I love their silly interactions like this so much
Chris and Becca’s relationship in book1:
I genuinely appreciate how obsession doesn't try to frame bear as morally grey but just fully leans into how deplorable he is. a lesser movie would have tried to give him redeeming moments along the way but no, at every single crossroads bear makes the wrong choice. when the customer service rep asks him if he wants to cancel his wish, he says no, and asks to alter it. when nikki, the real one, begs him to kill her, he asks her "if it would be so bad to love him", and right at the end, backs out of killing himself and tries to throw the pills up. he is the villain, not another victim, not a confused, cowardly boy, the villain.
I have been longing for more Becca x MC fan fictions but I know there aren’t a lot nowadays so I made one. I really love jealous Becca so I also added a bit of that here. I wrote this fanfic three years ago but I revised the ending and I think this one is better.
This one took place after the car accident with Tyler and it will be one of those “amnesia tropes”. I don't know why I decided this plot would be good but... why not, right? If anyone’s reading this, let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoy.
No proofreading so I apologize if there are any errors.

Make You Forget - MC (Emily Day) x Becca Davenport
Two weeks after Becca was discharged from the hospital, the atmosphere in their house changed drastically and although everyone noticed, no one dared to mention it.
Emily sits by the porch of Vasquez's old house, trying to calm her racing thoughts. She could no longer stand the air inside as it felt like she was being suffocated. In that moment, all she wanted was to be alone.
Just as she was about to feel relaxed, Emily heard the click of knob and the sound of the door shutting back once again.
"Don't," She uttered through her gritted teeth. "I need to be alone right now."
"I know you do," It was Kaitlyn. "I wanna be alone with you." She sat down beside Emily and let out a contented sigh.
"It's late already, you should go back to bed." Emily said, eyes fixed at a distance.
"I could say the same thing to you," Kaitlyn replied softly.
It was silent for awhile until they heard a fit of familiar giggles in the living room.
Chris and Becca.
Emily felt a pang of pain in her chest and her lips trembled ever so slightly but was quickly replaced by a fake smile as she turned towards Kaitlyn's direction. Unbeknownst to Emily, her best friend already noticed her change in demeanor.
"How was the recording going?" Emily began, hoping to ease the tension slowly forming.
"It's going well," Kaitlyn furrowed her eyebrows.
"Really? Your expression says otherwise." She nudged her best friend lightly with her shoulders.
"Emily, you know you don't have to pretend in front of me, right?" Kaitlyn said, changing the topic of their conversation. "I'm your best friend, ex-girlfriend even. I know you already, you can talk to me about it."
With that, Emily slumped back her shoulders and leaned against Kaitlyn for support, tears start to slowly run down her cheeks.
"It hurts so bad, Kay," She cried out softly. "She's like a stranger again. It's so hard to pretend I don't get hurt every time she says she doesn’t want to be with me."
"She probably thinks Chris is still her boyfriend. She has been pushing me away and flirted with him all morning in front of my face. It hurts so bad, I don't know what to do!" Her cry turned into a sob.
"Shhh, hey, it's okay," Kaitlyn wrapped her arms around Emily's shoulders. "Becca will soon regain her memories. She's gonna remember how much she loves you. We will help her. Everything will be back to how it was before. I just know it."
"But what if it doesn't?" The words came out as a whisper. "What if she ends up dating Chris and I'll be nothing to her again?"
"It won't happen," Kaitlyn kissed the crown of her head. "You should trust Chris. He's not going to do anything with her."
Emily did not say anything but in the back of her mind, she has already given up all the hope she had. She doesn't know how much longer she can hold on.
But for now, she just lets the night be filled with a gentle sob and the sound of Kaitlyn's heart beating together with hers in sync.
-
The golden rays of sun stretched into the window of Emily's room, slowly shining their way down to her face. The brunette groaned upon feeling the warmth of sun on her skin, causing her to flutter her eyes open.
Emily immediately felt the emptiness on the space beside her and an immense feeling of sadness dawned on her once again. Every morning, it seemed like a routine for her to be greeted with loneliness.
She then saw a glimpse of her reflection on her bed side table and remembered she wore the red fitted silk robe that Becca gave her on her birthday. Emily sighed to herself, annoyed that everything reminds her of Becca.
She got up and slowly made her way to the bathroom of their house, still feeling a bit drowsy.
"I'm using it first." A stern voice called out from behind, snapping Emily out of her half asleep state.
It was the first thing she heard directly from Becca the past few days after their fight and even though she could feel the coldness in the tone, Emily could not help but feel a spark of joy knowing Becca is speaking to her.
"Of course." She replied in a small voice, making way for the blonde girl to pass by.
A few minutes of waiting and she heard the knob of the bathroom door click open to reveal Becca once again. The older woman's face was blank, making Emily feel uneasy on her feet.
"The faucet is not working right now," She said. "Just want to let you know if you wanna use that."
"Thanks for the warning." Emily mentally winced at how awkward the atmosphere is between the two of them. "I'll just go wash in the kitchen."
Becca did not reply and walked past her, making her way to their living room where Chris was already sitting, Emily following shortly behind her.
"Good morning, Emily!" Chris beamed to her and she returned the gesture.
"Morning, Chris." Emily replied, subtly looking away after seeing Becca sit dangerously close to her friend then quickly made her way to the kitchen.
"Fuck." She shut her eyes close and opened the faucet to wash her face. "It's too early to feel like shit."
"Want some coffee?" Zack asked.
Emily turned to see her three best friends smiling to her. "Oh wow, good morning," She softly laughed. "Abbie? What the hell are you doing here?"
"Woah, there," Abbie chuckled. "You're not happy to see me?"
Emily shook her head, smiling slightly. "We see each other during lunch, you know."
"I know," Abbie smirked. "But it's Saturday so we're planning to go to a party!"
Emily let out a deep sigh. "I don't know about that. I still have a chapter to finish and a few backlogs I need to catch up on since-"
"We're not taking no for an answer, Emily." Kaitlyn spoke up. "You have been locking yourself up inside your room lately. You need to stop being boring and let loose sometimes."
"She's right," Zack nodded his head. "Besides, I heard Domesticated Antelope is playing since the kid hosting the party is rich as hell."
"Oh?" Emily's eyebrows perked up. "Is that so?"
"Yup," Abbie agreed. "My friend from Art Design last year is the one throwing the party and she wanted me to invite my friends. You know, just drink away and forget all our problems for tonight."
"If this is your way of convincing me-" Emily was cut off once again.
"We're not trying to convince you. You're coming with us either way." Zack said smugly, making Kaitlyn laugh while nodding her head in agreement.
Emily let out a defeated sigh. She's knows there is no way out of this.
-
"Come on, Emily. You're taking too long! Even Becca is done getting ready." Kaitlyn called out from outside of her room. "You already look like you would get all the bitches anyway."
"You haven't even seen me yet!" Emily rolled her eyes as she put her final earring on.
With one last look at her full body length mirror, she smiled to herself, feeling satisfied. She was wearing a black bralette top with long sleeved mesh cover up, two-toned brown pants, and boots to finish up her outfit. If she could get Becca to look at her direction tonight, she might even sleep soundly for the entire week.
Emily swung her bedroom door open and saw her friends waiting from the living room. They all looked up to her approvingly except one. Despite the chorus of compliments she received, she felt like nothing mattered since the only person she wanted approval from could not even look at her direction.
"So what are we waiting for?" Emily asked, a fake smile plastered on her face.
Everyone walked out of the house, Chris and Becca separating from the rest. Emily's eyes followed the two and noticed Becca clinging onto Chris's arms.
Hurt was painted all over Emily's face and it took everything in her to look away. Maybe this was a mistake after all.
"You guys ready to go?" Tyler asked from the passenger's seat.
"Wait, if Tyler is coming, doesn't that mean one of us has to come with those two?" Emily pointed at the direction where Becca and Chris are headed.
"Yup." Kaitlyn answered, staring blankly at Emily.
Abbie hurriedly rushed to the driver's seat while Kaitlyn and Zack raced towards the backseat.
"Oh great, now that there's no space for me I think it's only appropriate that I go back inside so I can actually finish my-" Emily was immediately cut off by a voice approaching her side.
"Nope, you aren't," James smiled down, his tall figure towering over Emily. "You're coming with me to Becca's car."
"How fun!" She sarcastically exclaimed to which James chuckled out of amusement.
"Let's go." He dragged the smaller woman by the wrist and greeted the pair ahead of them. Chris offered the two a ride and they reluctantly nodded their heads.
"Okay, wow, your grip hurts." Emily winced, resulting for James to let go.
She saw Becca in the corner of her eyes turned to look over her for a brief moment. Emily's heart began to beat in delight. That was a first tonight. She couldn't help but think maybe- just maybe- Becca still cares about her somehow.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to." James said, opening the backseat door for Emily. "Come on in, Your Highness." Emily smirked and playfully smacked James's arm before entering.
Abbie mentioned that the drive will take about 20 to 30 minutes long since the party will be at her friend's private pool bar. Emily thought of how torturous the ride would be- having to witness Becca's subtle touches on Chris's arm.
Though the burn it caused on her eyes was no match to the bullet-like pain that struck her heart with every flirtatious move she does to the man sitting at the passenger seat.
"So, Emily," James decided to break the tension that was slowly forming inside the car. "How was the book going?"
"It's going fine. Although I’m stuck in a dilemma. Should the protagonist get back with her ex-girlfriend? With all the things I put her through, she deserves to be happy, at least.” Emily replied, still looking outside the window. "What do you think?"
Just then, Emily felt Becca's gaze from the rearview mirror. She ignored the urge to look back and turned her attention to James.
"Are you sure that's the best way to end it?" James raised her eyebrows.
She shrugged. "I will have an excuse to quote Frank Ocean," Emily smiled and pretended to make a rainbow arc with her hands. "Feelings that come back are feelings that never left."
She made a mistake of looking up because for a split second, her eyes made contact with Becca’s gaze. The moment was so quick but it was enough to get Emily burn up in her seat. She could feel the electricity coarsing through her veins and it made her want to explode at any given moment. Her gaze traveled back outside to help ignore the burning sensation forming in her throat.
The car fell into silence once again, a faint sound of Warmth Ripple by Mirror Beings played from the radio.
All Emily could hope for in that moment was for the ride to be over.
-
She had her back leaned against the bar as she watched her friends dance like there was no tomorrow, casually sipping the cocktail she grabbed from the waiter wandering around. The small smile that was formed on her lips was quickly replaced by a scowl as she saw Becca slide her arm to Chris and leaned in to whisper something.
“I can’t do this." Emily gritted through her teeth. She turned her back from the dance floor and asked the bartender for a stronger drink.
"You okay?" An unfamiliar voice chimed in, breaking her away from her thoughts.
"No, yeah," Emily shook her head. "Yeah, I'm fine." She turned her head to see a gorgeous blonde woman with light blue eyes. A wave of sadness took over her as she was once again reminded of Becca.
Fucking blondes.
"I'm Sam by the way. I hosted this party," The girl smiled. "You don't look familiar."
"I'm Emily," She replied. "My friend Abbie invited me to come."
"Oh, so you're Abbie's friend," Sam said. "I saw her with Tyler by the pool. You're not joining them?"
The bartender finished her drink and gave her the alcohol she requested. Emily drank the shot in one go before giving her short reply. "Nope."
"I see," Her blonde company nodded. "So what's a pretty girl like you doing here alone?"
Emily's lips curved into a smirk. If Becca can do all that flirty shit with Chris, so can she with all the pretty girls around. "I could ask you the same thing."
Sam raised an eyebrow at her, matching her playful smirk. "Would a pretty girl like you want to have another pretty girl's company in this lonely night then?"
"Absolutely." Emily felt a gaze land on her and she had to resist the urge to turn her back to the direction of that particular person.
"Want some more drinks?" Sam asked.
"Why not?" Emily chuckled. "Apparently, I came here to drink and forget."
"Oh, I see," Sam said, gesturing the bartender to give them two more drinks. "Personal troubles, huh?"
"Yeah," Emily sighed. "I'd rather not talk about it."
"Alright," Sam gave one of the drinks she requested to Emily. "Cheers to all the problems we can't talk about." She raised her glass and Emily couldn't help but laugh, clinking their glasses together.
"Cheers." Now she could feel the sensation behind her burning even more intensely and Sam seemed to have taken notice as well.
"What's her problem?" Sam furrowed her eyebrows, gaze landing at someone behind Emily. "She's been glaring at us for awhile now."
Emily took the risk and turned her head to look at that person. Yup, it was indeed her not-quite-girlfriend-anymore.
She shrugged, trying to brush off the unpleasant feeling boiling down in her stomach. "I don't know what's her problem. Maybe it's not us. There's a lot of people in this party after all."
"Yeah," Sam said, feeling unsure but decided to focus her attention on Emily. "You're right."
Before Sam could even say something else, the music stopped and Kevin Driver announced the last song that he will be performing.
"That's my favorite song!" Emily yelled as the intro to The More I Know, The Worse begin to play and she stood up from her seat to go near the stage, Sam trailing behind.
"You like Domesticated Antelope?" Sam asked, inching closer to Emily after they stopped walking.
Emily turned her entire body to face Sam, barely any space left between them. "Like? I *love* Domesticated Antelope!" She beamed.
"Well, I'm glad I decided to pay him to play instead of some lame band out there," Sam breathed out, staring intently into Emily's brown eyes.
"Well then," The writer rested her arms on Sam's shoulders, slowly wrapping it around the latter's neck. "I sincerely thank you for your great service. You have made my night." They both bursted into a fit of giggles and for a brief moment, Emily seemed to have forgotten about the heartbreak that she has been going through in the past few weeks.
“You’re one beautiful woman, Emily,” The other girl breathed out, smiling.
“Oh yeah? Well, I personally think you’re so…” Emily grinned then bit her lower lip as she tuck Sam’s hair behind her ear. “Hot.”
“Wow, seriously?” Samantha rolled her eyes playfully. “You sound like a man.”
“No, I don’t!” Emily lightly pushed the other woman’s shoulder. “I’m better than them.” She winked and the pair let out yet another hearty giggle, staring into each other’s eyes.
The two continued to sway at the music playing and as the song entered its second chorus, Samantha began to slowly lean close to Emily’s face and the writer froze in her position, seemingly couldn’t pull her gaze away from the woman in her arms.
"That's fucking it!" She suddenly heard a familiar voice in a distance despite the loud music playing.
Samantha’s grip tightened on Emily’s hips as she leaned in for the kiss. Emily immediately turned her head as she felt a soft pair of hands pulling her by the waist, Sam’s kiss landing on her cheeks.
"Would you mind if I borrow her for a moment? Good. Thank you." It was Becca.
Emily was not able to process what was happening as she was immediately dragged by her wrist away from the crowd.
"Becca!" Emily called out as she gets dragged. "What the hell is your problem?!"
Becca didn't say anything and instead continued to drag the younger woman away until they were both inside an empty bathroom.
"Seriously? Of all places?" Emily said, feigning annoyance.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Becca began, her arms crossed in front.
"What do you mean?" Emily furrowed her eyebrows. "I was just talking to a friend."
"Talking? A friend? She fucking kissed you!" Becca scowled.
"So what? Am I not single right now? Why are you getting all worked up about this? You broke up with me! Weren't you the one who told me I'm not your girlfriend?" Emily scoffed and continued to ramble. "Now you're getting mad I'm having fun with someone else. Seriously, I was having a good time already and you were also having fun with Chris. Aren’t we supposed to just move on and-"
"Shut the fuck up, Emily Day,” Becca cut her off guard with her harsh tone. "You're mine." The blonde crashed their lips together in the fit of anger.
Emily immediately melted into the kiss and returned it with the same intensity. The bathroom was filled with their groans, moans, and the soft whispers they make in between kisses. It was not what Emily had hoped for tonight but it was exactly what she needed.
"Fuck," Emily breathed out when they pulled away. Her heart began to beat fast when she saw Becca smirking seductively. "Does that mean you remember now?"
"No," The blonde replied. "But I do remember how it felt like when I saw you earlier. It felt like I was being stabbed when I saw you flirting with that fucking bi-"
"Hey!" Emily exclaimed. "She was nice to me! Besides, I think she’s pretty-“ Becca glared at Emily and the brunette bit her lip to stop herself.
“She was only nice because she wanted something from you," Becca huffed. "Whatever. It’s true, anyway."
"Yeah? What is?" Emily replied as she wrapped her arms around Becca's waist.
"That I felt like my heart was being stabbed when I saw you with someone else," Becca sighed. "I may not remember everything but I know deep in my heart that I never stopped loving you."
"Whatever you saw with Chris," She continued, gaze still fixed on Emily. "It was nothing. You're all that we talked about because my head has just been a mess ever since I got out of the hospital. "
"I didn't know what memory was real and what wasn't because I couldn’t remember anything clearly. That's why I pushed you away." Becca winced and placed a palm on Emily's cheek, her thumb lightly rubbed against her lover's skin. "I'm sorry I didn't come to you instead. I was just so confused about everything- about us. And I wanna make up for all of it."
"You should," The smaller brunette smiled, kissing Becca's hand. "But thank you for making me understand now. I was so hurt, you know? If only you knew how many times I cried, everyday felt like I was slowly losing you."
“I’m sorry, Emily,” Becca breathed out. “I will do everything I can to make up to you, anything for you.”
“Anything?” Emily raised an eyebrow.
They both laughed as Becca playfully smacked Emily's arm.
“Don’t go overboard!”
“I won’t!” Emily giggled. “It’s easy, I promise.”
“And what do you reckon I should do?” Becca asked, curiosity written on her face.
There was silence as Emily cupped Becca’s face. She placed soft kisses on the other girl’s cheeks, making Becca close her eyes, smiling.
“Make me forget the pain you made me feel.” Emily whispered, moving down to Becca’s neck, leaving tiny love bites. “Replace them all.”
The blonde girl gasped, voice slightly trembling as she replied, “Is that really all that you want? That’s already given.”
Emily stopped and lifted her head to face Becca. “How about being mine again?
Becca snorted. “I don’t think I ever stopped being yours, silly.”
Emily squinted her eyes. “Then what about Chris? Because what you did with him in front of me made me feel like I want to violently strangle him and—”
Becca cut her off. “Shhh, baby. I wasn’t even interested in him to begin with. I told you, all we ever talked about was our relationship— and everything else I have forgotten about you.”
The older girl smiled reassuringly before closing the distance between them with a kiss. Emily returned the kiss with greater intensity. It was rough, a little clumsy, and very much filled with hunger.
“How about I make you forget about everything else in this party instead. Everything but me?” Emily smirked, her hand already on its way to unzip Becca’s pants.
“You’re so annoying,” Becca laughed but not stopping her girlfriend’s wandering hands.
She used to ruin mc’s whole day just by making her presence known it’s funny

nikki begging bear to kill her and all he does is ask whats so bad about being with him. one of the most nauseating scenes ive ever witnessed
Bear is one of the most selfish men in cinema. He has little reaction to Nikki stabbing herself, he destroys Nikki's life instead of just asking her out, his selfishness results in the death of his two best friends, and kills himself and let's Nikki deal with the consequences of HIS ACTIONS instead of giving Nikki she wants.
i feel like people are overlooking the moment at the beginning of obsession where nikki straight up asks "do you like me?" and once bear lies and says no she replies "ok, good." for starters, it was a chilling moment to me because this is such a classic experience of having a close guy friend, only to realize that he wants more from you. girls aren't dumb! nikki isn't dumb! of course she knows that bear is into her, she has eyes! she can see his stuttering and sheepishness and she's just dreading the moment she has to turn him down, to tell him that he's like a brother to her. just before she had told him that she doesn't feel real love in her life, and i don't think it would be a leap to attribute a small part of that feeling to her fear that her friendship with bear isn't as simple as she wants it to be.
it's also a chilling question from nikki because once she walks away bear knows that she doesn't feel the same way about him, and he makes the wish anyway. he is incapable or unwilling to take a hint and see that she doesn't feel the same way. and that question is the last thing she says to him before he ruins her life forever. it's unfair.
not your nikki
