In all seriousness, I hit a neat follower milestone recently, and wanted to say thank you so much!! 🥹 I started a tumblr to join a community, post my writing and make screenshot shitposts, so I'm truly grateful to have met so many wonderful people here. I'm hoping I can do a giveaway or something soon to celebrate, but for now enjoy a silly meme 💚

A naïve, silly and gullible, but staunchly loyal go-getter with a very quirky Muggle vocabulary. She's bubbly, fun, loves a good prank and has a big sweet tooth. Although not particularly intelligent or studious, she is very compassionate and finds joy in the littlest things.
Biography: Gibby grew up above her father's confectionery in Highgate, London. She has two older brothers, Connor and Ellian, and a younger brother, Thomas 'Tam', and attended school until she was ten years old before going to work at the confectionery. She wants to take over the business some day.
Her mother is Welsh; Gibby's maternal grandparents own a horse farm near the west coast of South Wales. As such, she's a proficient horserider, and also skilled at cooking, cleaning, sewing and other practical tasks.
She's needed glasses her whole life.
Once she got her head stuck between the stair bannisters for eight hours. Her parents eventually freed her using melted butter.
Owls and birds creep her out.
Her best subject is History of Magic, and her worst is... everything else.
Name Origin: From three common Victorian names, referencing her Muggle heritage, with a double-barrelled surname to better fit her more whimsical, magical circumstances. Surname pronounced ‘FULL-tun SMYth’ (SMY rhyming with EYE).
Nickname Origin: From the word gibberish, nonsense speech, a reference to the Muggle slang she often uses. Pronounced ‘JIH-bee’.

The HL fandom is small and chock full of amazing creators. In this fandom I've met the best of friends and the best of creators--authors and artists alike who have the most amazing ideas.
The fandom friends you find should never be about comparing stats. There are people behind the creators you interact with, and whether you like their content or not, whether they're your friends or not, they're human. We are human. We can set boundaries, we can bitch, we can speak up or stay silent about our issues, we can support content we like and not engage with the content we don't, and that's fine. We have the right to interact with fandom the way we want to.
But it's the attitudes around these concepts that have genuinely poisoned the waters of the Hogwarts Legacy Fandom. Somewhere along the way, it became about stats, ratings, and yucking other people's yums. That is a real shame, because that means that the people who find this fandom will see all of this vitriol and decide not to engage, dooming the creators who have poured their hearts and souls into their work.
Whether you like someone and their work or not, choose respect. Choose to be friendly. It would be a shame to lose this fandom to this.
