im not sure if i can live a life without constantly feeling some sort of melancholy— drowning in nostalgia and letting the waves of old memories wash over me

i am trapped in a box of constantly remembering, constantly wanting to relive the experiences that caused me pain because I think it is the only way I feel alive. it feels lonely but it also feels safe. it feels familiar and that frozen, cold sort of chill deep inside the rib cage leads to a permanent feeling of hibernation. i can’t get hurt if everything is iced over.

being an Aquarius is a lonely existence. i yearn for times I once hated, I desire any reminder of the past that I can get my hands on. I feel most like myself when i am alone with my memories, alone with the feelings that i, at least, felt deeply for once in my life. I love all the songs that remind me of another time, another place, an old version of myself that always seems... better.

i need something but im not sure it exists in this realm anymore.

So learn how to silence the voice of your ego and don't think you need to be right to be alright, for there's far more growth and happiness waiting for you once you chose humility and introspection over winning arguments or "proving people wrong".

There's no better time to rewrite the narrative in your mind. So ask yourself, "who do I want to become? how do I want to be perceived?"
