Flashback to that one time Clay puppington started speaking to me in my head about how nothing matters and I went oh yeah u riiiight and imagined myself in his study and was really comforted.

So more about this, Clay is the whole reason that I made the Fictoself thing pretty much.

I should clarify that I identify with his character not bc he’s abusive or an alcoholic but bc he has a misery to his character that I haven’t been able to find in anything else that I’ve watched, or if a character is miserable it just doesn’t feel the same. Smth about his pessimism and ig cynicism speaks to me? Oh also the golden child backstory cough cough yeah.

This experience I reposted combined with the reason I looked up that fic I mentioned are my two big uhh flashback ig moments. I was watching the show and got to nature pt2 and when it cut to Clay’s pov I got a mental 1st person vision of how he died? I saw him pointing a gun (ol gunny) at himself.

I also created the label bc I didn’t want to call whatever connection I have to him fictionkin bc he is not me, and I would not do the same things he did in his situation. Though there was something there that felt went past fictionhearted.

I also woke up on a long car trip one time and looked out the window and the landscape reminded me of moralton? And I remembered being there? So things like that have made me question if it’s a past life thing or not?

I was disgusted by the smell of my own breath when I went to drink water from the sink, my head hurts from sitting on my phone all day. Do I feel sad? No. I feel a comforting sort of nothing. But still, nothing. This faint buzz masquerading as emotion but underneath its lies I know I feel nothing. Do normal people feel happy to some capacity most of the time? Like content? Then again part of me thinks mentally healthy people are a myth, and that those which appear happy are hiding underlying problems or are just happy at the time you see them.

I wish I could live in a world where I am content, but I think as long as I live amongst humans as one of them that will never be possible. I’ll be fine though. I can change in an hour, or five, or two days. Time blends into itself, hours pouring by like grains of sand through my fingers which age with each passing second. And yet I am so spineless I cannot refuse the temptation of overstimulation, barring myself inside instead of actually living my life.

Normalize not drawing every day as an artist. At bare minimum can we acknowledge there are some artists who are lazy, some artists who are actually struggling to do things like coloring because of how little they finish art. Artists who only ever do sketches, artists who actually aren’t very good for their age, not “awwhhh look at my art it’s so baaaaaaad🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺” and then it’s the Mona Lisa I mean there are artists out there whose art could use improvement. This is not to bring down beginner artists and I am not calling out or thinking of anyone in specific I am simply saying not all art is finished or breathtaking and that is ok! It is still art!

Most importantly all the types of people I listed above are still artists. Just because you don’t have some grand magnum opus doesn’t mean you aren’t an artist. You drew one sketch, awesome! Idk, I just wanted to acknowledge unmotivated creatives because I feel they are not represented enough.
