DNI Page + Trigger Warnings

This is a nonsharing/extremely selective sharing selfship/mental health blog, so unsurprisingly there is a DNI page. Generally, I do my best to be kind and welcoming to other people. That being said, there are some people that I would prefer not to interact with under any circumstances.
Do Not Interact:
Anyone who selfships with or kins William Afton/Springtrap from Five Nights At Freddy's. I am not trying to be disrespectful to any of you, but this character is extremely important to me and my mental health, and it would be best for both of us if you just leave me alone. I won’t mess with you, and I ask in return that you also don’t mess with me. In the words of Charlotte Emily, I don't hate you, but you need to stay out of my way.
**This rule applies to all canon versions of William Afton, including Dave Miller, Springtrap, Scraptrap, Steve Raglan, and fan versions that closely adhere to the canon version. If you're somehow not sure if you qualify as a double but want to interact with me, please ask first. I do make an exception for people who ship with the "Vincent Bishop" character; that is addressed below in my ABI section.**
Update 1/26/26: Due to the tremendous emotional pain I have been experiencing after encountering a double in my feed, I ask that you please block me if you are a William selfshipper/William kin and you find this blog. This way I won't have to see you and block you.
Update 3/3/26: When it comes to doubles, there are some exceptions that I am willing to make.
People who fit into these categories now fall under ABI instead of DNI:
People who don't have William/Springtrap as a main or nonsharing F/O, have him as just one of many different F/Os, or who don't post/gush about him that much.
People who don't have William as the main focus of their blog, or who don't post stuff that would be distressing for me (such as having a username along the lines of "williamscanonpartner" or something like that).
People who exclusively selfship with Matthew Lillard's version of William, and who explicitly state that they have no interest in the game or novel versions of him.
People who selfship with an AU version of Springtrap that is canonically not William (such as Tony Crynight's version of Springtrap).
Please note that even though I am open to the possibility of interacting with you if you fall into any of these categories, I would still like you to ask before interacting just so that I don't accidentally come across anything triggering.
Bigots of any kind. This should go without saying.
Trolls, spammers, scammers, or bullies of any kind, or anyone who is anti-selfship or anti-nonsharing. If you're a dick to me or anyone else, you will be shown the door. And if you're a scammer, don't even bother because you're not going to be getting any money from me.
Pedophiles, zoophiles, incest shippers, adults who ship themselves with characters who are confirmed or implied to be minors, people who ship themselves with non-sapient animals/creatures, people who ship themselves with real people who committed real-life acts of violence (e.g. the Columbine shooters), or other problematic shippers.
Update 2/11/26: I have recently gotten some harassment from proshippers telling me that I am a proshipper because I ship with a character who is a serial killer. I am not a proshipper. I do not think it is ok for grown adults to ship themselves with children. There is a HUGE difference between shipping with a villain who is a grown adult and shipping with a child. I never go out of my way to harass anybody, but if you are a proshipper and you come here and harass me I will be reporting you.
Anyone who headcanons William as a pedophile or who ships him with members of his family (excluding his wife). Stay the hell away. I am serious. Scott Cawthon has come out and said that pedophilia has no place in his series, meaning that not only is this stuff absolutely vile and disgusting, it’s also completely non-canon.
Anyone who disapproves of me shipping myself with William Afton for any reason. I understand that shipping with a character who murdered children might make some people uncomfortable, and I respect that, but keep in mind that this is a fictional character from a point-and-click game where a robot bear screams in your face. It's not reality. I do not ship with a real-life serial killer, nor do I believe that that kind of shipping is ok. If you don’t like me or my selfship, that’s fine, just please leave me alone instead of choosing to harass me over something that does not hurt anybody.
William/Springtrap roleplay accounts. These don't bother me nearly as much as doubles do, but it kind of makes me uncomfortable to see some random person on the internet claiming to be my F/O. It's nothing personal, and I don't harbor hate towards anyone who RPs as William, it's just something that I would prefer not to see.
Ask Before Interacting:
Anyone who selfships with or kins Henry Emily, Michael Afton, or the Mimic (my trigger character). I consider Henry to be a platonic F/O; he is like a friend to me. So while someone who selfships with him/kins him is OK with me in theory, I would need to get to know you better first. As for the Mimic, the character triggers me for a number of reasons. I don’t hate everyone who likes the Mimic, but I am wary of them due to past bad experiences.
People who selfship with or kin Glitchtrap or Burntrap. I believe in GlitchMimic and BurnMimic, so I don’t believe that either of these characters are William Afton. That being said, if you believe these two to be William and you selfship with them, stay away.
Anyone who selfships with or kins the Vincent version of Purple Guy. In order to qualify, you must selfship only with the Vincent character and not the William character. I consider them to be separate characters, so that's why Vincent shippers can potentially be given a pass. But if you fall under this, please ask first.
Anyone who claims that Matthew Lillard is the canon design for William in the game universe. I have nothing against ML or his fans, and I have actually even seen him in person, but I began my selfship long before the first movie came out and that version of William just doesn't feel right to me. Namely, I see William as British, while Matthew Lillard portrays him as American. Of course it's fine to have your own differing interpretation of the character, just please don't invalidate my interpretation. That being said, the movie version is similar enough to the game version, so if you ship with the movie version it would still probably be best if you stay away.
People who hate my theories/headcanons. Of course, it’s perfectly fine to have headcanons that differ from my own, just as long as you are kind about it. But if you want to get into a heated argument about FNAF lore or tell me my headcanons are stupid, please look elsewhere.
OK To Interact:
Willry shippers, Ballora/Springtrap shippers, and William/Mrs. Afton shippers. I do not mind these ships, as I do not believe that pairings between canon characters invalidate my selfship. This also goes for any other non-problematic canon x canon William ships that I haven't mentioned here. As long as you are OK with my selfship, you are more than welcome here! However, if you ship William with an OC that is your self-insert, please DNI because I would consider you to be a double.
William fans who do not selfship with him. As long as you don’t selfship with him or kin him, you're welcome here! If you consider him a non-romantic F/O though, please ask before interacting as I am highly protective of him!
Anyone else, really. I like meeting new people who are friendly and not triggering to me. As long as you don’t fit into the categories I mentioned, feel free to say hello!
**Trigger Warnings**
Because this is a mental health blog as well as a selfship blog, and because of the nature of the character I selfship with, there are some trigger warnings. If you are triggered by any of these topics, this blog is probably not for you.
Mental illness (depression, anxiety, social anxiety, mental breakdowns).
Mentions of fictional serial murder, child deaths, child kidnapping, and violence. All of this will be fictional and not real-life stuff.
Mentions of self-harm, self-hatred, and suicidal ideation. Unfortunately none of this is fictional.
Slight mentions of fictional alcoholism. William is heavily implied to be an alcoholic in FNAF 6, and in my AU I have decided to go with it.
Atheism. I am an ex-Christian turned atheist. I am respectful of other people’s beliefs, but if you are religious you may be upset by some things that I say.
Nihilism. I tend to view the world this way, probably because of my mental illness.
