Darren Baker has become one of the UK’s best known & collectable artists of the 21st century. A perfectionist who has spent most of his life developing techniques with oils, pastels and charcoal to create a form of realism comparable to pho- tography, his accolades to date include; Official artist to the 2012 Olympic games Official Portrait artist to Her Majesty The Queen 2011 Fine Art Trade Guild Award Winner - Best Artist 2010 Winner of The Garrick Prize at Christies, London. Baker’s artwork already hangs in many prestigious public and private collections, including those of 10 Downing Street, The House of Lords, St James’s Palace and the Bahrain Royal household.
