Time for another 💙🌹 ROSALIE X SHANE CUT SCENE TITLE REVEAL 🌹💙
Same as before you get a title, but nothing from me about the order of which it is. It could be early in their scenes. It could be late.
I don’t know if anyone else is enjoying these but I am! It’s nice to reveal some art and not worry too much about the context. Some are more spoiler-y than others…
This is one of the few scenes where Rosalie is in her wheelchair. And I love this title a lot. When I wrote this scene the term from Owl City’s song of the same name came to mind. Make no mistake though, despite the title, and the beautiful piece made by the beautifully talented @slowpoli, the subject matter of Shane and Rosalie’s conversation here is quite heavy and dark but no less real. I still tried to make it as “vanilla” and all ages as I could, but this definitely borders on it.
I hope that when this scene is released, the part of me that needed to get personal in the writing here can get some peace and also, help with the story and explain why and how deeply and fiercely protective Shane and Rosalie are of one another. Even more now as adults who have gone through and grown up with more weight on their shoulders than they should have had to.
They joke with each other. They laugh and tease. But also, they see how much the other is going through, and they show respect and support in all the ways that matter. This goes not just romantically, but also, platonically.
Still on track for the Voice of the Valley to have a June release! Promise I’ll have a day soon!🌹
You’re still here? Amazing. So the song “it’s quiet up town” from Hamilton it has some meaning here too. Maybe not for this scene depending on the context you listen to it but it’s for another thing I likely won’t discuss unless I expand on their story further before Bachelor #2 is released. For now, you get this and I’m gonna cry now 💔
