I think "what if we molded ourselves to each other perfectly" has legs as a kink dynamic if we could ever get anyone to take off their compulsive "understand any kink dynamic through dominance and submission" glasses
The best part about it genuinely is your movements get scary synced. Put all your energy into mirroring and learning and being suitable to each other and suddenly you get bored and miss them and they message that they were just thinking about you. Suddenly a cup of water appears in your hand when you're thirsty. It's weird and a little bit magical.
It takes time to set up. But it's super achievable and you can definitely start with like. Basic mimicry and hypnosis to get your feet wet. Later you start discussing your every boundary and value, nothing kept sacred, full agreement almost always the goal. This isn't exactly SSC but like. Per that other post neither is heavy obedience training. I think that's actually the hard part - society says it's fucked up to spend all your time devoted to someone, and a lot of people don't know how to reconcile wanting that without painting the person they're devoted to as evil and saying it's ok because it's consensual and the fact that it's evil is hot. You do not have to think this is evil. You can just staple your identity and sense of reality to someone and have them do the same back and watch your life get weirder. Make strange paracosms together. Lose track of who did what and whose tongue is whose. Join me in knowing the feeling of "I would answer that but I store that information in my other body."
I need more of you to become inseparable and borderline interchangeable. It's way too messy to be realistic for most but it's way too fun and achievable to be as underrepresented as it is.
I’ve seen this thought before, in a fanfic. It was really beautiful.

struggling trans + disabled household trying to keep it together this month
hello everyone. i hate having to make these posts every time, but the past two weeks have been just a successive continuation of punches to the balls.
i am the sole breadwinner of a household of two soon to be three, and after rent, food, and meds, we generally have maybe 400 dollars a month to hold things together, of which we usually can save 0, maybe 20 on a really good month. about a week ish ago, a cat in our care died, which cost $1300 for the vet visits as she declined + cremation. two weeks before that, my parents heard my laptop broke and decided to chip in for a new desktop, and then did not get me a screen, mouse, keyboards, and speakers, because "i could handle it", which cost about another $250 ish. before that, $250 on laptop repairs.
and also yesterday i had to send my laptop into the shop again for repairs. $100 just to peek inside to see if the charger port was broken (in which case they could reseat it), $150 to just yank the charger port out and replace it. i said fuck it and paid the $150 because what the fuck else can i do, my livelihood depends on having access to a computer.
meds are expensive when you are disabled and in a wheelchair. so imagine my unpleasant surprise when today i found out that suddenly, between the start and end of june, my insurance stopped covering <medicine x> which, btw, out of pocket costs fucking $1350 i'm so god damn mad. thankfully i could coupon it down a little but it's still just shit on the pile after shit on the pile after shit on the pile after shit on the pile and now i have to either go off of it (extremely bad) or argue with insurance (bad and slow). and my boyfriend needs help moving out, which is its own thing that i need to help with, so he can get here.
i am applying to jobs every god damn day. you would think a career developer with a well-stocked portfolio of professional projects and excellent references would be able to get something, anything, even a contract position. nothing. i am trying and trying and trying and i hate begging on the internet but i am at the end of my damn rope here and it's causing me enough physical stress that it's degrading my already perilous health, given my autoimmune disease.
so. if you have anything to chip in, i know this corner of the internet is just gay people passing 5 dollars back and forth until it vanishes down a hole. but it would be really, really appreciated. every new catastrophe i've had over the past like three years has just drained more and more of my savings and i do not know how much longer we can weather it before it starts getting bad. it's just too much for me to handle.
Go to paypal.me/bstdev and type in the amount. Since it’s PayPal, it's easy and secure. Don’t have a PayPal account? No worries.
as always, please do NOT donate if you cannot afford to do so. but, if you could reblog, that would be really appreciated.
The "Thank You" ARG, Solved by Exclusion
A short lesson in deductive reasoning, using a Deltarune puzzle.
The answer is "the lake." Everyone knows that - the game told us. What fewer people have done is prove it from the structure of the wrong answers, and the proof is more interesting than the solution, because the apparatus accidentally teaches a complete course in formal deduction. Every rejected answer is a true statement about the world, written in the negative. Read correctly, the 1,229 wrong answers draw you a map.
Three principles before we start, because they're the actual lesson:
Define your universe of discourse before you eliminate. You cannot cross answers off a list until you know what set you're choosing from. Most reasoning fails here.
A partition must be exhaustive. If your categories don't tile the whole space, an answer can hide in the gap.
Sort your evidence by what it constrains. Not every "no" narrows the location. Some narrow the referent, some the type, some the intent, some reveal only the speaker. Treating every rejection as equivalent is the most common error in informal reasoning.

i appreciate the amount of people reblogging this despite me not really tagging this at all. im glad many of people feel the same anger i do.
isn't it insane though how schizophrenic people are viewed as violent and dangerous by the majority of society when in reality schizophrenic people are nearly 14 times more likely to be on the receiving end of violence than to be the perpetrators...
schizophrenic person: makes a post trying to raise awareness about the disproportionate abuse and harmful stereotypes schizophrenic people face
yall: "yeah im not gonna reblog this they used the word ins*ne which is so problematic ://"
What the fuck happens that changes these stats to such a massive degree?
1) schizophrenia hardly ever causes people to be violent so schizophrenic people aren’t more likely to be violent than anyone else
2) schizophrenic people’s autonomy is often taken away from them because of their schizophrenia. because the authorities and mental healthcare providers often automatically assume schizophrenic people to be violent, they’re more likely to immediately react to schizophrenic people's symptoms with violence, without even knowing for sure said schizophrenic person was going to be violent. all of this causes schizophrenic people to be more likely of being victims of violence and abuse. schizophrenic people also have a harder time getting out of abusive households because of the risk of their autonomy being taken away. if a schizophrenic person’s relative or partner is abusive, often the schizophrenic person has no way out of the situation, both because our disconnect from reality can result in us being easier to manipulate, and because the system is built in a way that it takes away our autonomy because of our condition.
also schizophrenic people and psychotic people in general, please do a lot of research before picking a provider for your own sake, and if they try to treat your psychosis in a way that you think is harmful then don’t hesitate to switch providers. your safety and wellbeing should be a priority over everything else.
can y'all please reblog this version instead

UWOTC-CWA is seeking transparency and consistency in career progression and pay for Arena employees. Leadership has continued to acknowledge
Career progression and pay is an important issue for UWOTC-CWA members. Every employee deserves to have clearly defined performance metrics, reliable expectations for pay, and a clear path forward in their career growth.
Leadership has continued to acknowledge a backlog in deserved promotions, yet only a few people are promoted each year. High-performing employees are put in the position of continuously proving that they exceed the expectations of their role.
This results in people working above their level for years without due compensation or recognition. UWOTC-CWA is seeking transparency and consistency in career progression and pay for all Arena employees, and we look forward to discussing this at the bargaining table after we secure union representation
We all enjoy working at WOTC and want to continue doing so for years to come!
