“You won’t hear a complaint from me.” He’d been unable to contact his progeny for years, now he needed to make up for all the time he’d spent away from her. Getting up from his seat he crossed back to the kitchen to get himself another cup of coffee. “You’ve guessed my plan to trap you here.”
“Listen, there are worse places I could be trapped. I once visited a tiny town on the coast of Italy and thought I wasn’t going to make it out with how terrible the townspeople were. Definitely keeps me on my toes though.”
