This piece of my commander Fenrele has been in the works for literally over a year because I am trying to be as detailed with her as I possibly can...

So.. I keep working on it on and off whenever the mood strikes (which honestly isn't too often) but since it is taking so long why not post a work in progress :3

They're a colleague of one of the two human agents assigned to the kids, along with a Dobermon. They've been friends for a few years and work together very well, though they are not partnered Digimon.

Filmon is more laid-back than Dobermon, and is the faster and smaller of the two, and specializes in close combat. They're a member of a species that are a bit uncommon in the Digital World, and look like an odd mix of a hedgehog and porcupine, and can bristle the back quills as a form of defense and for use as a weapon. They're also great diggers.

I've always been a passive Pokemon enjoyer - never had a Gameboy, DS or Switch, and likely won't get the latter one unless there's suddenly some intense need for it, so I've always resorted to watching the anime series and watching playthroughs of every new game that comes out.

But my god, do the more recent games kinda look a bit like, well...

The fans deserve better, Imo, and Gamefreak/Nintendo/whatever should do better lol

Concept doodle of one of the "monster of the week" Digimon the characters in Aurora encounter - Furfumon

A Mega level Virus entity from the Dark Area, that as the name suggests, took on the identity and appearance of the demon Furfur from human literature.

Furfumon is completely silent - including lacking an audible physical voice, and everything near it feels like it's frozen in the eerie silence of a coming storm. Even though it itself doesn't really move, simply levitating in one spot, the feathers on its wings and the torn pieces of clothing constantly gently flutter as if affected by an unseen wind. Its horns emit a faint glow reminiscent of that of Saint Elmo's fires.

The two known abilities it used are Ignis Fatum - orbs of ghostly blue fire, and Darkest Night - a slow supercell cloud genesis that eventually produces unnatural violent tornadoes.

Furfumon was one of the more difficult encounters the Tamers had, as it was nearly untraceable, and no one, not even other Digimon, were alerted to its arrival, the only initial hints at its presence being odd weather patterns here and there. It was eventually noticed by meteorologists, when it started mildly affecting weather radars and similar technology - including a weak, ghostly voice - and the interference was speculated to be caused by a supernatural entity. It soon became clear that its actions didn't really have any rhyme or reason - nor was it itself interested in any communication, instead slowly manifesting stronger and stronger storms that would ultimately culminate in an outbreak of massive tornadoes that would cause massive casualties and destruction.

It was also with the help of meteorologists that the Tamers were able to pinpoint its eventual location and confront it in the middle of the storm.

Grimmon is an Adult undead virus type, a representation of various church grim variations in folklore. The leather belts are holding his decaying body together, and he specializes in electricity-based abilities. The ghostly flames on the tip of his tail are said to be used to either save travelers lost in the forests and bogs and guide them to safety, or lead them deeper to their deaths.

Originally, these evolutions I designed as a fun exercise to give Aurora's Digimon Digimental evos, with Impmon's all being corrupt - this one being the Friendship one. But eventually decided to incorporate them into the story, though they're not exactly triggered by Digimentals or Crests ( those don't really exist in this setting )
