Faces from Edge of Tomorrow (2014) directed by Doug Liman (one of my favorites). I can enjoy any movie that repeatedly kills Tom Cruise. Starring Tom, Emily Blunt, Brendan Gleeson, Bill Paxton, Noah Taylor, and a lot of ugly aliens.

So much action in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and featuring performances by Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Frank Grillo.

The end credits were the most inspired thing about 22 Jump Street (2014); directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and starring Jonah Hill & Channing Tatum.

Adored the art direction in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) and, of course, spotting all of the cameo appearances. Committed performances by Tom Wilkinson, Marcel Mazur, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, F. Murray Abraham, Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Tony Revolori, Saoirse Ronan, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton, and Bill Murray, among many others.

Scenes from Nebraska (2013) directed by Alexander Payne and featuring performances by Will Forte, Stacy Keach, Angela McEwan, Bruce Dern, June Squibb, Bob Odenkirk, Tim Driscoll, Devin Ratray, Noah Matteo, and various uncles. Every shot in this film was beautifully composed.

Scenes from The Filth and the Fury (2000), a documentary about the Sex Pistols directed by Julien Temple. Cannot quite comprehend that Sid Vicious was only 21 when he died (and that he and Bono were both born on May 10th).
