what do you mean mavuika didnt find seven-year-old kinich at the foot of a mountain trying to drag his dead father's body back up it and immediately pick him up and take him to the stadium where she would then raise him like he was her son.

what do you mean citlali doesnt look at ororon and mualani and kinich and mavuika and ifa and kachina and everyone else and think "maybe this will all come crashing down one day but at least ill get to see them grow until the end" and proceed to be there for every one of their funerals and keep every single photo and painting and memory of them with her until she thinks her time is up and she'll finally be able to see her family again.

what do you mean mualani, kachina and kinich aren't human-equivalents of sun/earth/moon and mualani and kinich don't revolve around kachina and watch her grow until she is as proud of herself as they are of her.

what do you mean chasca and mualani werent close close childhood friends and they don't meet up after the sun goes down to reminisce on simpler times and how much they've grown and stayed the same.

what do you mean capitano couldve been the casts' awesome strong cool dad who taught them how to guard their hearts while appreciate the sun all the same. what. do you mean. ororon lost his dad. his dad who he saw had a good soul but was just tough on the outside. his dad who didn't want him to get drunk alongside the fatui soldiers. his dad who saw his worth and helped him reach his full potential. what. huh.

what do you mean iansan and xilonen and kinich arent mavuikas most trusted who have been with her since the beginning when she woke up until now when everything has finally ended. what do you mean they didn't lounge about in the speakers chamber waiting for mavuika to come home and discuss future plans with her. what do you mean the three of them barely acknowledge each other outside of xilonens forgery, iansans strength and. Ajaw. ajaw.

what do you mean kinich doesnt look at the people around him and realise he has found the family he always needed. and wanted. what do you mean canon kinich cant even call mualani and kachina more than just acquaintances. what do you mean he doesn't even have an ororon voiceline. what do you mean he used to be considered the only one who could handle citlali and now they arent even acknowledged as a duo anymore.

what do you mean mavuika doesnt look at her six heroes and citlali and kachina and capitano and get reminded of the friends and family she left behind. what do you mean she doesn't look into kinich's eyes and see the same spark of defiance and acceptance that burkina's had. what do you mean she doesn't feel a grief everytime she looks around the dinner table and sees mualani and chasca bickering just like tupac and menilek used to. or see xilonen, sundjatta, grab kachina's, hine's plate and pile on every sort of food onto it. or citlali scold her on overdoing it just like her mother used to.

They're too enthusiastic about it and somehow invite Itto for dinner (he's one of her friends, right), who luckily behaves during the meal.

Sara asks for a pet and all of the Tenryou Comission's assets are sent to help find the best pet for her (the Shogun and Heizou come along).

Just the Kujou siblings becoming even more of a family and trying to help Sara feel more at ease now that Takayuki isn't there with his political schemes.

In my heart of hearts I know that Sara was at the test of courage event. She didn’t want to go as herself because she thinks she can’t be seen at dumb events but she really wanted to check it out and she knew the little youkai were planning it. She used her tengu powers to transform into the crow that periodically showed up to squawk forebodingly and mess with Itto.

During one of Sara’s days off, she finds herself working at Yae Publishing House as a favor for Miko. However, an enthusiastic patron sparks Miko’s jealousy.

“I know you’re quite busy yourself, and the rest of my plans for today are not pressing,” Sara says. “I can handle the front-end of the Publishing House so you can finish your work for the day.”

“Sara, it’s your day off,” Miko sighs. “As much as I would like to extort you for your work, you need to relax.”

“This is much less strenuous than what I usually do,” Sara says. “And you can pay me if it troubles you so.”

“I said nothing about paying you.”

My "The Hopelessly Talented and the Hope-filled Talentless" AU now lives rent-free in my mind so I'll share some background stuff for some of these kids

Hajime and Izuru are twins, Hajime is the older sibling by 16 minutes.

Their parents divorced just before they started junior high and Izuru was taken by their mother who remarried.

Although neither of them believe in twin ESP, both Hajime and Izuru have had moments when they were in sync with each other.

They could also sense when the other is in distress even if they are on different parts of the city. Hajime would get more irritated when Izuru is in distress, and Izuru would act clingier towards Hajime if he sensed distress from Hajime.

As all of Nagito's known relatives are dead, he worked with a trusted financial advisor to start up his investments before he partnered up with the Togami conglomerate.

Nagito currently has two people he is close with outside of Hope's Peak Academy, Kirumi Tojo and Yoshiya Kiryu.

Kirumi has a father in Osaka that she had cut contact with after she started attending Hope's Peak Academy.

Although Kokichi is the leader of DICE, the other members treat him more like a younger sibling most of the time, even those who are the same age or younger than him.

Izuru, Hajime, and Chiaki are gaming buddies. Chiaki knows the best meta strategies and what the best items are, Izuru is methodical and tactical in his gaming approach, while Hajime is best at communicating with teammates and NPCs.

I might go into more detail about their pasts here or maybe in a later fic. I haven't decided, but I'm having a lot of fun with all of this ^^

The judge would be either the Shogun or Kamaji/whoever the current Tenryou Commissioner is I guess

Kujou Takayuki is the obligatory Horrible Old Man who’s in every Ace Attorney game
