These chicken Caesar sandwiches made in a slow cooker are full of flavor and easy to make. Chicken shreds that are soft and covered in a creamy Caesar dressing. Crispy bacon and fresh vegetables on top, and your favorite bread slices in the middle.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup Caesar dressing. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 slices of your favorite bread. 8 lettuce leaves. 8 slices of tomato. 8 slices of crispy cooked bacon.
Instructions: In a slow cooker, place chicken breasts. In a bowl, mix Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and easily shreddable. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it well with the sauce in the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toast bread slices lightly if desired. To assemble sandwiches, place a lettuce leaf on a slice of bread, top with shredded chicken, tomato slices, and bacon. Cover with another slice of bread to make a sandwich. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 4 sandwiches. Serve hot and enjoy!
