As a democratic country, like the Philippines, although people are free to do what they wanted to do, the media is as just as corrupt as the government institutions. People have their own plan and likewise need to stick to the elites that own the organization. While the individual writers are as simple to get pay-offs as the following government official to give a few legislators broadcast appointment.

What I Can Contribute To The Community As A Media and Information Literate

As the generation comes into a great development, a lot of people are now focusing on how to know and learn media and information literacy as it is an important skill to acquire since technology are much into modernization nowadays.

You will know about the media and information literacy as practiced on both personal and professional levels as they are to express and to spread what people know so that they can be aware of what may happen. As practiced on a personal level and professional one, we should know that every time we post something on the internet, we should think first the effect that might happen to us, because it can destroy our personality.

Since people are much more integrated with communication to the society that that they belong to and to be able to express and contribute ideas from the person, media and information literacy has become an expression of freedom of speech or expression. It is a desire to express whatever feeling that you keep hiding in you heart hat needs explanation and processes. This kind of freedom of speech can relate the process of communication on how we express and feel the freedom to contribute some information from others.

Civic responsibility is where all people have the responsibility and role in the community. Nation-building is the development of a national identity using the power of the state to aim the unification of the people and stabilize their living.

As a media and information literate, I will help the community in means of showing them that their opinions are valuable.  I think I can improve not just myself but also other people, including the nation. With the use of the media we can easily communicate with other nations and we would adapt the technology of the nations, helping us to have a developed economy.
