so i'm a firm believer of the whole moonstone theory with varian right?? like he was born with a pinch of the moonstone's power bc his dad was always around it and whatnot and that's why he has that streak in his hair right??

and yknow how rapunzel (born with the sundrop's power) is able to read the moonstone incantation and like actually do something with it?? so do you think varian would be able to use the sundrop's healing incantation?????

because like rapunzel is the sundrop, so it makes sense for her to be able to use the sundrop incantations and also the decay incantation. varian's not quite the embodiment of the moonstone but he would still be able to use the incantations right? because he still has some of its power?? so he should be able to use the decay incantation and the healing incantation??

because if so then i'm totally killing hugo in the library fight scene for a scene where hugo's dead and varian hopelessly recites the healing incantation not at all believing it would work but what else could he do and he barely even finishes it and there's those several seconds of silence and hopelessness before hugo gasps or something?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS IS SO PERFECT???

someone's probably talked about varian with the incantations and stuff before but golly i was just laying in bed and it all came to me and i had to post about it

So this is just a fun, silly challenge week to celebrate our favorite Disney rejected ship with no limits or rules. EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE!

I ask- nay, I implore you to PLEASE DO NOT USE AI FOR THIS! The whole point is to show your love for these silly little gay scientists and just using a computer takes all the heart out of it. It dosnt matter if you don't think your good at creating, whatever quick doodle or cheesy fanfic is a hundred times better than whatever a computer can come up with. Please, I promise everyone will love it just don't use the fucking computer.

Anyways, yeah this doesn't really have any other rules, just to have fun. tw: suicidal ideation, suicide attempt it's important to me that varian has that nagging want for death in the back of his head. he has the amber solution and he wonders if it should've been him. he catches himself staring at the rocks and their sharp points. he refuses food in prison and stays up all night just to see if maybe that would work but it's also important to me that he doesn't actively start trying to put himself in life or death situations until midway through his time in prison. i feel like until that point he was determined on freeing quirin and would've kept going for that, that was his goal, that was his something to live for, but at some point, when you've lost everything, it's been so long, everything you tried failed and your father is as good as dead.. he gets reckless

he gets in fights with the separatists, he walks down dark alleyways alone knowing there might be a few people there who don't want to see his face, he doesn't wear proper safety equipment when experimenting, knowing those chemicals burn and those fumes are toxic (not like ever wore decent equipment in the first place though) and sets off more traps and bombs during fights than would ever be considered necessary and then he actually tries to blow himself up for the sake of the kingdom in the s3 premiere. airship scene how you haunt me
