Someone motivate me to get off my ass and finish my creative writing assignment that’s due tonight! My teacher was cool enough to let me write a fucking fanfiction and I can’t force myself to write past my boy sassing the League of Villains! (I’m writing about Interns for the justice league and it’s interesting? To say the least?) I need to actually write to get myself out of the plot hole though 😭
SLEEPLESS IN SEACOAST (Multi)
Aziraphale was not normally one for sleeping however Skye made it very difficult not to want to sleep when he was going through this phase. Aziraphale certainly hoped it was a phase anyway, otherwise he feared Crowley may lose their mind. The baby was having a habit of screeching in the night despite that they would do everything to keep him all snuggled in bed and he’d be sleeping fine until late into the night when Crowley was all snuggled into bed looking so peaceful, it was almost as if the child planned it that way.
Then there was the constant shifting and trying to hide it on the occasions they went into public, one second the baby would have beautiful blue eyes and the next they’d be black as a demons and frightening anyone in sight (Crowley thought it was hysterical when a nun fainted when this happened once and Aziraphale had to wipe her memory of that afternoon to avoid anyone thinking their child was the anti christ, Vlad would be sore if someone tried to take his title after all.)
But now this was going on the third night in a row of almost non stop screeching from their child the moment the sun went down and he was running out of sanity to really know what to do. Aziraphale tried feeding, rocking, playing, soft music, he even tried queen to see if this perhaps as an accidental Crowley influence and there was nothing that was soothing the child. Aziraphale sighed as he sat on the sofa with Skye still crying in his arms and he looked up at Crowley, was Warlock ever this bad? Given they hadn’t been hired on until he was a little older but still.
“I think my dear it might be time to try a ride in the Bentley, perhaps to the Van Hellsings? They do have quite a bit more experience with children of the fey than we do. We may just have to admit that for once we’re a little out of our element with this one.”
Aziraphale looked on in wonder as Strahd explained about his collection
“I’ve noticed that about realm hopping, where Crowley and I are from now is not our usual home. I’ve noticed there are slight differences in the books from our home realm to the one we reside in now so i have to admit i’m extremely curious to see any differences in your books.” Aziraphale admitted as if proving his point he went into his pocket and removed a pocket sized edition of “Hitch Hikers guide to the galaxy” and offered it to the vampire lord, admittedly it hadn’t originally been so small it had been much larger but with a little miracles it became a pocket sized edition
“Here, if I borrow one of yours you can borrow one of mine.” Aziraphale said he almost emphasized that it was to borrow and he expected it back but he also didn’t want to be rude even if he was extremely possessive of his books he still did lend them occasionally to those he knew would keep them safe. Surely someone with a library as vast and lovely as this would have to keep books safe for them to be around this long and be in such good condition still?
Strand took the book and eyed it, “What is the Galaxy? Is it a plane of existence?” He asked. Such terminology wasn’t used in his experience of the planes but perhaps there was more to be understood? This Aziraphale was quite an intelligent being so it stood as no surprise that he might have so knowledge for Strahd to glean. “Perhaps a different word for what we use?”
Oh dear,
Aziraphale tried his best to explain it in terms strahd would understand, perhaps he should try something else? A little less complicated?
“Perhaps something by Shakespeare instead? He is a dear friend” aziraphale said thoughtfully as he searched his coat pockets until he found one
“Here try this. A midsummer night’s dream.”
Strahd pointed to a great map of the planes, “no there are no planets but there are planes, we are here in the Shadowfell.” He pointed, “on the plane of dread. Barovia is but one of the many domains here” Strahd took the offered out book handing back the previous one and found himself reading away when he was supposed to be doing his duties as the Count and overseeing business papers. He couldn’t help the laughs that came forth though Aziraphale might find them a bit off putting as there as always something dark to Strahd’s mannerisms even when he was being genuine.
Aziraphale was amused when strahd began reading the book, while he preferred quiet or soft music when he was reading it was interesting to see someone who was said to be a monster seem so…tickled with Shakespeare and what true monster enjoyed Shakespeare?
Well other than Will’s demon ex but aziraphale refused to touch on that subject.
It was nearly dawn when Elhain came in curious to see the two of them and she spied strahd and was a bit amused herself as she moved in her night gown to sit on the armrest beside him
“My dear, be careful it is almost time for you to sleep.” Elhain said pressing a kiss to his cheek
Strahd set the book aside on the table and snaked an arm around his wife pulling her into his lap as he stifled her shriek with a well timed kiss so as not to disturb anyone in the castle. “Mmm I know and I shall count the hours of our separation in my dreams.” He murmured before remembering present company and pulling away more from her. “You should let your eyes read over this one my love it is even more your taste than mine, though to be fair this Shakespeare fellow seems to be quite good at drawing even one such as myself into his tale spinning.”
Elhain shook her head and gently swatted her husband on the shoulder in a playful manner for playing with her in front of company. Aziraphale tried to pay them no mind, they might not be used to guests and honestly reminded him of drac and honey a little bit.
Elhain took the book and looked it over
“I’ll have to try it” elhain said nodding and aziraphale looked up to them
“I have others if you’re interested. I might have to go check the Bentley for them but if you like Shakespeare he does have some wonderful stories”

Juliet frowned as she looked around the apartment it didn’t look like they had left long ago, aziraphale had his books everywhere as usual but it didn’t look like anything malicious had happened. She let out a sigh and headed for Vlad and honey’s next.
Lottie had called her saying she wasn’t able to get ahold of the new parents, they were supposed to meet for coffee to talk about raising changelings. The Them hadn’t heard anything from their companions from the other world either when Juliet had checked, anathema and newt were on the same boat so the guardian in training had checked on their apartment after her calls to Crowley kept going to voicemail. Part of her wondered if she should call Raphael or Mikey but ended up thinking against it. She could find them right? Why worry the siblings if it wasn’t needed.
She knocked loudly on the front door of Honey’s mansion and fidgeted nervously just something didn’t feel right to her. Like nothing malicious but something was definitely wrong.
When a servant answered Juliet brushed past them before they could give her the spiel about the couple of the home not accepting uninvited guests and headed inside until she found Cerberus
“Hello sweetie!” She said happily as she momentarily forgot her mission to give belly rubs and snuggle him
“Where is Vlad? Can you take me to the big bad vampire king?” Juliet asked in a baby voice
Juliet sighed and nodded a bit when Will asked to clarify and looked to the little ones and the Them
“How about a game?” she asked her wings only momentarily appeared and a feather came loose which Juliet took and her wings disappeared again she blew the feather into the air and watched as it floated around however never touched the ground.
“First person to catch the feather gets a wish.” Juliet said she thought it would be a good way to distract them for the moment while they discussed their plan
Vlad sat down and looked to Godwin, “perhaps an explanation of who it is that we are possibly going up against? He is the BBEG after all.”
Will closed the book and looked at Godwin, “well I suppose it has been a moment since I last read through one of your Modules.
Godwin opened the book and was horrified to find certain pages were blank and others were starting to show differently. “I would but it seems that what we know is very little. The Count appears to have a wife and a family…” he frowned. “That is a lot of children.”
Will shrugged, “not so many to Jane or myself.”
Juliet looked curious as she looked
“It looks like aziraphale and crowley linking our worlds is changing the story. From what we had thought to what might be fact” Juliet said thoughtfully
“Sort of like if we rewrote it or a new interpretation” Juliet said it did have her curious
“What is?” Honey asked having just waltzed in on her own
“Indeed but it is revising itself as we look at it.” Will pointed to the words traveling across the page.
Godwin stared and started flipping through. “There are new additions to those that live at Castle Raveloft, it seems he has more than just his three brides and groom. He has a wife and children too.”
“Well that seems promising for our beloved Angle and demon, don’t you think?” Jane asked.
Honey looked over to see what was happening and hummed softly
“Well hopefully, just because someone has a family doesn’t make them any less of a menace to society. Particularly any royal” honey said clearly she spoke from experience she’d seen many societies rise and fall plus the addition of her own childhood as a human was something to consider
“So what’s the plan? We gather the tabletop nerds in our group and go get them?” Honey asked
“I mean I don’t see why not,” Vlad said pressing a kiss to her cheek. “We handled the Feywild we can handle this vampire.”
“Uhhhhh,” Godwin squeaked out a bit at the end there.
“What?”
“Oh just that his Stat block just got bigger and spans two pages and his wife spans two among others. We will certainly have our hands full.”
“All the more reason to bring more, numbers and all that plus if we bring both myself and Adam what could he do against two reality benders?”
“Unbend the reality you try to form? The dread domain of Barovia is his will.”
“Ok so we bring Will and Jane as charming distractions.”
“If you need a charming distraction darling you will find no better as I am out of commission,” Kit said before looping an arm around Honey’s shoulders. “Hullo darling,” he purred before looking everything over. “So Hades’ counterpart hand Juliet’s counterpart have gone on an unplanned vacation??? Without inviting us, how rude!”
“Raphael’s counterpart not mine, my brother from a parallel world though” Juliet corrected him as she looked at the pages
“I think the right track would definitely be to get as many of our friends who know this world as possible though even if Adam is the anti christ I don’t think I can condone putting him in this kind of danger” Juliet said looking to the Them
“What? Because we’re kids?” Pepper asked pouting and Juliet simply nodded “we can handle anything they throw at us!”
“I’m sure you can but I don’t think I can explain to your families if you got hurt or turned into vampires” Juliet countered

It was a curious confliction in itself but not an unfamiliar one, Aziraphale had seen a similar one in him and Crowley and of course any friendships harbored by Juliet.
Curious indeed because from what he recalled of Godwin going on about the book this was not part of it.
“My dear you are the expert on all things demon,” Aziraphale reminded him with a slight smile “But we’re not getting one. Vlad’s hellhound is already a handful and we have a changeling.” Aziraphale assured him “Plus whatever Lottie and Olga have found to keep us all entertained.”
Elhain smiled they seemed so sweet together, they reminded her very much of her and Strahd, even without the aesthetic though she assumed Crowley was less murder-y and that Aziraphale didn’t have to feign ignorance to it.
When the carriage pulled to a stop Draco was first to hop out and run to meet Stuart and Lumi as they waited for him, the hellhound yipped happily and crouched his tail wagging happily to see his boy before he ran to greet their visitors
Ember came bounding out towards the children and all but tackled Arabelle and Draco.
Strahd chuckled, “Ember you should be more careful! Draco has had a rough night.” There was a thump on the ground and Strahd picked up the small rage ball. “Aww, Caspian are you unhappy that you didn’t get to go with us? I know you would have stopped those cultists with your little fangs if you could.”
“That bunny’s got fangs?” Crowley raised a brow.
“Oh yes, he is an unholy creation, made by a holy being, the Abbot in Krezk has some rather interesting ideas on how to fill his eternity.”
“But he only eats the fluids of vegetables, he can get a tomato dry in about five seconds.” Arabelle declared.
Aziraphale leaned closer to the rabbit curious to see him
“Reminds me of the book about the vampire bunny, the Shakespeare twins were reading it remember?” Aziraphale asked looking up to Crowley with a smile then there was a giggle and a pop as a little raven appeared from thin air
“Belle!” The tiny toddler flung her arms around arabelle giggling
Arabelle giggled as her younger sister came from seemingly nowhere.
“Aba, Mama!” Luna waved from Rahadin’s arms while Aleks wobbled towards them holding onto Rahadin’s hand for balance.
“These are the triplets, Aleksandra, Raven, and Luna.”
“Bunnicula if I remember correctly Angel.” He gave an amused look as the rest of the family joined them.
Luna reached out for Strahd and Draco. “A-go! A-go! Aba!”
Draco giggled and took Luna carefully so he could hug her
“We have guests, these are Crowley, aziraphale and skye” Draco introduced raven looked up to them with red eyes full of curiosity
“Skye?” She asked aziraphale nodded and moved lower to the ground so the toddlers could see the baby in his arms who mimicked raven’s eyes on instinct and giggled babbling happily
“Baby!” Raven giggled
“Go-wee and Shiwa!” Luna declared.
Arabelle giggled, “good enough Luna.”
Strahd looked at his family, “we should go in before the little ones get cold. Or you my dear.” He pressed a kiss to his beloved’s forehead. “Besides our guests are more than likely wanting to rest and get used to their new surroundings.”
Crowley looked to Aziraphale, “sure, Skye will likely finally get some rest.
Aleks placed a hand on Ehlain’s cheek and patted gently. “Mama.” She declared.
Elhain smiled a d pulled her into her arms
“Hello my little dear! I have missed you” she said giggling and pressing kisses to her cheeks before she beckoned for them to follow her inside
“I’ll make sure Cyrus has a hot meal made for you” elhain assured them aziraphale of course was interested hearing that and was grateful for the assistance
Strahd lead the older two in and gestured to Rahadin, “please show these gentlemen to where they shall stay, they are our guests.”
“At once my Lord.” Rahadin turned to Crowley and Aziraphale. “Please follow me,” as they traveled one could hear the screams of the innocent coming from Rahadin’s aura. “Forgive them they don’t know they are dead.” He told them, “my choir it follows me everywhere the children seem immune to it, for which I am thankful.”
“Quite alright,” aziraphale said it didn’t seem to phase skye either so that was good though it was rather unsettling to him. Part of him wondered if Crowley was used to such a thing from hell but who really knew
“So have you worked with strahd long?” Aziraphale asked he stood closer to Crowley almost feeli protective of him in this place despite feeling this really was not an environment that meant them harm

Arabelle giggled as her younger sister came from seemingly nowhere.
“Aba, Mama!” Luna waved from Rahadin’s arms while Aleks wobbled towards them holding onto Rahadin’s hand for balance.
“These are the triplets, Aleksandra, Raven, and Luna.”
“Bunnicula if I remember correctly Angel.” He gave an amused look as the rest of the family joined them.
Luna reached out for Strahd and Draco. “A-go! A-go! Aba!”
Draco giggled and took Luna carefully so he could hug her
“We have guests, these are Crowley, aziraphale and skye” Draco introduced raven looked up to them with red eyes full of curiosity
“Skye?” She asked aziraphale nodded and moved lower to the ground so the toddlers could see the baby in his arms who mimicked raven’s eyes on instinct and giggled babbling happily
“Baby!” Raven giggled
“Go-wee and Shiwa!” Luna declared.
Arabelle giggled, “good enough Luna.”
Strahd looked at his family, “we should go in before the little ones get cold. Or you my dear.” He pressed a kiss to his beloved’s forehead. “Besides our guests are more than likely wanting to rest and get used to their new surroundings.”
Crowley looked to Aziraphale, “sure, Skye will likely finally get some rest.
Aleks placed a hand on Ehlain’s cheek and patted gently. “Mama.” She declared.
Elhain smiled a d pulled her into her arms
“Hello my little dear! I have missed you” she said giggling and pressing kisses to her cheeks before she beckoned for them to follow her inside
“I’ll make sure Cyrus has a hot meal made for you” elhain assured them aziraphale of course was interested hearing that and was grateful for the assistance
SLEEPLESS IN SEACOAST (Multi)
Aziraphale was not normally one for sleeping however Skye made it very difficult not to want to sleep when he was going through this phase. Aziraphale certainly hoped it was a phase anyway, otherwise he feared Crowley may lose their mind. The baby was having a habit of screeching in the night despite that they would do everything to keep him all snuggled in bed and he’d be sleeping fine until late into the night when Crowley was all snuggled into bed looking so peaceful, it was almost as if the child planned it that way.
Then there was the constant shifting and trying to hide it on the occasions they went into public, one second the baby would have beautiful blue eyes and the next they’d be black as a demons and frightening anyone in sight (Crowley thought it was hysterical when a nun fainted when this happened once and Aziraphale had to wipe her memory of that afternoon to avoid anyone thinking their child was the anti christ, Vlad would be sore if someone tried to take his title after all.)
But now this was going on the third night in a row of almost non stop screeching from their child the moment the sun went down and he was running out of sanity to really know what to do. Aziraphale tried feeding, rocking, playing, soft music, he even tried queen to see if this perhaps as an accidental Crowley influence and there was nothing that was soothing the child. Aziraphale sighed as he sat on the sofa with Skye still crying in his arms and he looked up at Crowley, was Warlock ever this bad? Given they hadn’t been hired on until he was a little older but still.
“I think my dear it might be time to try a ride in the Bentley, perhaps to the Van Hellsings? They do have quite a bit more experience with children of the fey than we do. We may just have to admit that for once we’re a little out of our element with this one.”
Aziraphale looked over at Crowley he could sense the conflict of evil and good radiating from the place, certain that the good came from the sweet woman before her and the darkness came from her husband. It was a curious confliction in itself but not an unfamiliar one, Aziraphale had seen a similar one in him and Crowley and of course any friendships harbored by Juliet.
Curious indeed because from what he recalled of Godwin going on about the book this was not part of it.
“My dear you are the expert on all things demon,” Aziraphale reminded him with a slight smile “But we’re not getting one. Vlad’s hellhound is already a handful and we have a changeling.” Aziraphale assured him “Plus whatever Lottie and Olga have found to keep us all entertained.”
Elhain smiled they seemed so sweet together, they reminded her very much of her and Strahd, even without the aesthetic though she assumed Crowley was less murder-y and that Aziraphale didn’t have to feign ignorance to it.
When the carriage pulled to a stop Draco was first to hop out and run to meet Stuart and Lumi as they waited for him, the hellhound yipped happily and crouched his tail wagging happily to see his boy before he ran to greet their visitors
Ember came bounding out towards the children and all but tackled Arabelle and Draco.
Strahd chuckled, “Ember you should be more careful! Draco has had a rough night.” There was a thump on the ground and Strahd picked up the small rage ball. “Aww, Caspian are you unhappy that you didn’t get to go with us? I know you would have stopped those cultists with your little fangs if you could.”
“That bunny’s got fangs?” Crowley raised a brow.
“Oh yes, he is an unholy creation, made by a holy being, the Abbot in Krezk has some rather interesting ideas on how to fill his eternity.”
“But he only eats the fluids of vegetables, he can get a tomato dry in about five seconds.” Arabelle declared.

Crowley made a hissing sigh, “I thought the Bentley wasn’t good enough for the little Fae spawn.” Crowley affectionately tickled the cherubic cheek of the babe. “Poor thing but I fear you are right. Caring for a baby isn’t our expertise. Perhaps between the Van Helsings and Shakespeare’s we might be able to figure out what to do to get Skye to sleep. Lord knows.” Crowley grimaced at saying the term Lord. “I need some. Might sleep for two days.” Standing Crowley picked up the carrying pram. “Shall we Angel?” Crowley offered a tired smile.
The drive was innocuous at first but the growing fog was making it terribly hard to see, “Angel the road’s gone.” He said matter-of-factly, his hands turning the wheel as a tree came looming out of the fog, a rather foolish thing to be a tree standing in the middle of the “road”. There was something under the car but it wasn’t a paved road as they bumped along at a steep incline. “What in the nine layers of hell?” Crowley furrowed his brow over the glasses he wore.
Now a tall darkly dressed figure that held aloft some unfortunate soul by the throat and seemed to be deep into giving a threat when their attention turned to the beams of the headlights and they took a step back.
Crowley managed to miss the tall figure but still got the victim, “not my fault!” He said to Aziraphale. “He was the one in the road not my fault!” They came to a screeching halt as Crowley hissed as he felt the two front wheels pop.
Aziraphale gawked at his husband as skye once more started crying and aziraphale turned to the little one in his back car seat
“It’s ok love,” aziraphale cooed softly to the little one but he continued to cry and aziraphale sighed before he looked to Crowley
“I’ll check on them you help skye?” Aziraphale suggested before he got out of the Bentley and hurried to check on the man who had been being attacked by the taller one but then aziraphale noticed the woman there as well, blonde hair and blue eyes gaping at him from where she sat with a child with a head of red curls and…scales? Aziraphale paused unsure what to say either
Elhain looked to strahd for a moment, everything had happened so quickly. They’d been visiting mooncrest and the carriage had been attacked by cultists to strahd at first it wasn’t that bad until one had managed to grab Draco and all hell broke loose after that, then this peculiar torched carriage had appeared and struck the cultist strahd had been attacking and Elhain had managed to pull Draco protectively aside and now she held her trembling little yuan ti as the curly haired man in peculiar clothes gawked at her for a moment but she didn’t sense anything evil from them
“Are you alright love?” Elhain asked briefly glancing in strahd’s direction without taking her eyes off of the stranger and it seemed to remind aziraphale of the situation
“Oh yes we are terribly sorry, the road seems to have gotten away from us we were looking for the Van hellsings and didn’t expect to run into anyone out here” aziraphale explained quickly he checked the cultist and noted the peculiar dress had they stumbled upon one of Godwin’s LARP groups?
“It was only a slight brushing but I am fine, same can’t be said for the cultist though, yes, he seems rather well beyond my justice now at this point.” He looked to his wife and son and smiled warmly at Draco. “Don’t worry son, Papa is alright, and now that bad cultist won’t be hurting you anymore.” Strahd said as he moved towards his family.
Arabelle in the commotion had drawn out her dagger and had been pointing it at the cultist’s direction in case he somehow came near them and now had it warily pointed at the strange vehicle that had come tumbling through the mist. “Who are you?” She demanded.
“My daughter is right stranger, who are you? What had brought you here to this domain? My domain, Barovia.”
Crowley held Skye his golden snake eyes darting around behind the thick black lenses of his shades as he took in what was going on. “Well we could ask the same of you.” Crowley said popping out of the driver’s side gently rocking Skye to ease him to sleep. “Angel a little miracle? Just one? To help him sleep it will ease the introductions.” He peered over his glasses.
“Angel?” Strahd said eyeing over the strange but friendly looking man. “Truly?” He raised a brow. “A divine being?”
Arabelle lowered her dagger slightly but didn’t put it away not trusting them yet.
Aziraphale shot Crowley a look for revealing him as an actual angel but regardless he sighed
“Just this once, I don’t like imposing on others will” aziraphale said but with a snap the baby let out a yawn and soon was fast asleep in Crowley’s arms
Elhain’s eyes were wide as she stood and Draco hurried to his papa quickly as well
“I’m afraid there is a misunderstanding last we knew we were in seacoast city” aziraphale said thoughtfully but Elhain shook her head
“Then you are very far from home my friend, I’ve never even heard of such a place” elhain said and gently pulled arabelle to her as well, just cautious enough if the peculiar strangers, child or not.
“Right…oh introductions this is my husband Crowley, our child skye and I’m aziraphale” aziraphale said and held his hand out to shake Elhain seemed surprised but she took his hand regardless
“And did you say cultists?” Aziraohale added it explained the man’s peculiar dress but not theirs
“Yes, strahd and I are lord and lady of these lands occasionally someone gets carried away and we have to deal with their actions” elhain said glaring at the dead cultist and squeezing arabelle’s shoulder gently in a protective manner
Strahd eyed the strangers and placed a hand on his son’s back reassuringly. “And believe me gentlemen I am the Lord of these lands and the laws of my people are mine.” Strahd eyed the small bundle in the other’s arms. A child?
Crowley looked down at the small boy at Strahd’s legs. He was practically the spitting image of Crowley if the demon had ever had the form of a child. “Don’t worry we aren’t here to break any of them. Well possibly any more of them. Wherever this place is?”
“Barovia, you are in Barovia.” Strahd studied the strange horseless carriage. “What is that?”
“S’a Bentley,” Crowley eyed them. “Don’t have conveyances like this?”
“No, we primarily travel by horse or carriage.”
“Damn.” Crowley muttered. “Some how we traveled back to the dark ages Angel.”
Aziraphale gave Crowley a sympathetic look, he knew how much Crowley hated the Dark ages. Aziraphale much preferred simpler times and had much enjoyed their visit to the fey because of this but Crowley hated it and had slept through the majority of the dark ages. With Skye at least Aziraphale knew he didn’t have to worry about that with his spouse disappearing.
“papa the carriage sings,” Draco said in the blink of an eye the little one had managed to climb into the bentley and was sitting on the front seat listening to whatever Queen song it had chosen to play at the moment
“Draco you know not to climb into carriages you don’t know.” Elhain said it was interesting to see that he was as chipper after the incident perhaps he was just getting used to the peculiar circumstances of nearly being kidnapped which was frightening to think about on it’s own or perhaps he was just comforted that his papa and mama were there to protect him
“Ok! Hey careful! That is no place for a child to sit!” Crowley said. “At least not without me there to guide! Bentley’sssss not a toy.” He couldn’t help the hiss that came out it wasn’t meant to be a threat so much as the idea of a small child driving the Bentley while a delicious source of chaos was not something Crowley while stuck in a place where the Bentley couldn’t be fixed easily wanted to happen.
Strahd went to his son and pondered at the tune:
‘I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you (hey, hey)’
Strahd looked to Crowley how have you managed to have a Bard trapped in your carriage? I don’t see him?”
“It’s actually a…” aziraphale thought pondering how to explain “it’s an echo of a bards voice, where we are from people can replicate their singing with a few various devices and crowley’s uh carriage has such a device” aziraphale explained he also might have added a snap of his fingers to ensure that the seat was to far back for the boy to reach the pedals just to be safe.
Elhain stepped forward though and retrieved the little one as he looked to Crowley noting the hiss
“Are you a yuan ti too? I’ve never met another like me” Draco asked trying to look around the glasses to see
“Draco it’s not polite to ask such things” elhain said gently and Draco sighed and nodded
“I’m sorry,” he apologized before he noted the baby and giggled
“Mama his hair is turning purple!” Draco giggled
“What is a Yuan-Ti?” Crowley asked.
“They are a snake people my son is at least part Yuan-ti.”
“No, but I suppose close enough,” Crowley noted the boy’s curious Otay. “He really is the spitting image of me.” Crowley said looking to Aziraphale, from the hair to the teeth and even the… eyes.” Another like him? How strange… but not too strange if there was another of him like Juliet or like Hades was to Aziraphale.
He felt his glasses tugged off by Skye who had woken up.
“Yes our little one Skye likes to do that, sometimes there his frec-hey!” He went to take the glasses back from the naughty changeling.
Strahd chuckled, “he really does look like you Draco.”
“Well I think he looks cool!” Arabelle agreed. “Who knows Draco maybe you’ll get taller like him?” She had come to see more of the carriage having put her dagger away.
“Th-thank you.” Crowley said taking the glasses back from Skye after a moment of trouble but he gave a moment’s pause before putting them back on.
Strahd ruffled his boy’s hair and put a hand on Arabelle’s shoulder.
“You don’t seem at all surprised?” Aziraphale questioned looking between them and Elhain shook her head
“We’ve met changelings before, I knew one that used to do quests at the leaky lich, she and her husband who was a Dragonborn used to love playing tricks” elhain said fondly and aziraphale realized he recognized the terms and his eyes grew wide
“Crowley dear do you still have that book Godwin left behind at our last dinner party?” Aziraphale asked though he was already going to the car to see if he could find it and when he did he was certain he was right
“Well dear,” aziraphale said seeing the man before them very clearly illustrated on the cover “we aren’t in Kansas any more it seems”
“What’s Can’s ass?” Arabelle asked.
“Angel, that wasn’t how the man looked before, remember he had long hair and was not sporting facial hair.”
Strahd looked to Ehlain. “They have my book?” How did his writings end up on a different plane of existence? There was a number of ways but…
“Well that’s great we have gone from reality to Larping.” Crowley let out a soft sigh.
“I can assure you I am no figment of your imagination.” Strahd said narrowing his eyes.
“No, no, not that just nevermind.” Crowley looked to Aziraphale. “Well if it weren’t that we have Shakespeare, and two Anti-Christs who will wonder where we are I would be worried about getting back home. Not exactly a miracle your way out of situation.”
Aziraphale nodded a little bit noting the new changes to the book as he flipped through
“Curious, though Adam does seem to enjoy seacoast I hope he doesn’t take a liking here and combine worlds again” aziraphale siad that might just make the universe implode but one problem at a time
“So you travel realms often?” Elhain asked and aziraphale shrugged
“It’s beginning to become a habit I’m afraid”
“And dabble even a bit in time travel.” Crowley said nonchalantly.
Arabelle shivered. “Can we get somewhere warm?”
“Yes, I agree, you are welcome to staying with us in my castle.” Strahd said. “Standing out here while we don’t have to be too worried for anything does make my family chilled and I can only imagine it is the same for yours.”
“My Bentley can’t go much further.” Crowley said, “but I suppose that means that we don’t have to worry too much about anyone taking it.” He took the keys out. “I hope we aren’t expected to ride a horse.”
“No, just a carriage.” Strahd said.
Crowley sighed, “that is what I was afraid you would say.”
Elhain nodded a bit and gestures them to follow aziraphale took the opportunity to check on sky and miracle him an extra blanket which he snuggled into gratefully and began chewing on one corner aziraphale shook his head at their teething child before he entered the carriage as well he did keep the book with him curious about what it could tell them of this strange new predicament
Strahd wrapped his children in his Cloak and soon they were off at a rather quick pace.
When they finally arrived to the ominous castle Crowley peered out the carriage window. “Angel it appears the castle is as large as one could have one.”
“Yes, it was built before my time as the Lord of these lands some several hundred years ago.” Strahd said. “Ravenloft, my home, my family’s home and for now yours.”

Crowley saw the way his Angel was fretting, “don’t worry, I think all will turn out well, it certainly did for the apocalypse why not here too?”

“Well that sounds like a terrifying thing, almost like an epic adventure.” Arabelle decided.
“Luckily you don’t have to worry about those here.” Strahd patted her hand.
Aziraphale nodded a bit he didn’t want to really discuss it much in present company they could discuss it later on and hopefully if skye slept through the night they could discuss it without worry…well with fewer worries anyway.

Aziraphale was not normally one for sleeping however Skye made it very difficult not to want to sleep when he was going through this phase. Aziraphale certainly hoped it was a phase anyway, otherwise he feared Crowley may lose their mind. The baby was having a habit of screeching in the night despite that they would do everything to keep him all snuggled in bed and he’d be sleeping fine until late into the night when Crowley was all snuggled into bed looking so peaceful, it was almost as if the child planned it that way.
Then there was the constant shifting and trying to hide it on the occasions they went into public, one second the baby would have beautiful blue eyes and the next they’d be black as a demons and frightening anyone in sight (Crowley thought it was hysterical when a nun fainted when this happened once and Aziraphale had to wipe her memory of that afternoon to avoid anyone thinking their child was the anti christ, Vlad would be sore if someone tried to take his title after all.)
But now this was going on the third night in a row of almost non stop screeching from their child the moment the sun went down and he was running out of sanity to really know what to do. Aziraphale tried feeding, rocking, playing, soft music, he even tried queen to see if this perhaps as an accidental Crowley influence and there was nothing that was soothing the child. Aziraphale sighed as he sat on the sofa with Skye still crying in his arms and he looked up at Crowley, was Warlock ever this bad? Given they hadn’t been hired on until he was a little older but still.
“I think my dear it might be time to try a ride in the Bentley, perhaps to the Van Hellsings? They do have quite a bit more experience with children of the fey than we do. We may just have to admit that for once we’re a little out of our element with this one.”
Crowley made a hissing sigh, “I thought the Bentley wasn’t good enough for the little Fae spawn.” Crowley affectionately tickled the cherubic cheek of the babe. “Poor thing but I fear you are right. Caring for a baby isn’t our expertise. Perhaps between the Van Helsings and Shakespeare’s we might be able to figure out what to do to get Skye to sleep. Lord knows.” Crowley grimaced at saying the term Lord. “I need some. Might sleep for two days.” Standing Crowley picked up the carrying pram. “Shall we Angel?” Crowley offered a tired smile.
The drive was innocuous at first but the growing fog was making it terribly hard to see, “Angel the road’s gone.” He said matter-of-factly, his hands turning the wheel as a tree came looming out of the fog, a rather foolish thing to be a tree standing in the middle of the “road”. There was something under the car but it wasn’t a paved road as they bumped along at a steep incline. “What in the nine layers of hell?” Crowley furrowed his brow over the glasses he wore.
Now a tall darkly dressed figure that held aloft some unfortunate soul by the throat and seemed to be deep into giving a threat when their attention turned to the beams of the headlights and they took a step back.
Crowley managed to miss the tall figure but still got the victim, “not my fault!” He said to Aziraphale. “He was the one in the road not my fault!” They came to a screeching halt as Crowley hissed as he felt the two front wheels pop.

“It’s ok love,” aziraphale cooed softly to the little one but he continued to cry and aziraphale sighed before he looked to Crowley
“I’ll check on them you help skye?” Aziraphale suggested before he got out of the Bentley and hurried to check on the man who had been being attacked by the taller one but then aziraphale noticed the woman there as well, blonde hair and blue eyes gaping at him from where she sat with a child with a head of red curls and…scales? Aziraphale paused unsure what to say either

They’d been visiting mooncrest and the carriage had been attacked by cultists to strahd at first it wasn’t that bad until one had managed to grab Draco and all hell broke loose after that, then this peculiar torched carriage had appeared and struck the cultist strahd had been attacking and Elhain had managed to pull Draco protectively aside and now she held her trembling little yuan ti as the curly haired man in peculiar clothes gawked at her for a moment but she didn’t sense anything evil from them

“Oh yes we are terribly sorry, the road seems to have gotten away from us we were looking for the Van hellsings and didn’t expect to run into anyone out here” aziraphale explained quickly he checked the cultist and noted the peculiar dress had they stumbled upon one of Godwin’s LARP groups?
“It was only a slight brushing but I am fine, same can’t be said for the cultist though, yes, he seems rather well beyond my justice now at this point.” He looked to his wife and son and smiled warmly at Draco. “Don’t worry son, Papa is alright, and now that bad cultist won’t be hurting you anymore.” Strahd said as he moved towards his family.
Arabelle in the commotion had drawn out her dagger and had been pointing it at the cultist’s direction in case he somehow came near them and now had it warily pointed at the strange vehicle that had come tumbling through the mist. “Who are you?” She demanded.

Just one? To help him sleep it will ease the introductions.” He peered over his glasses.

“papa the carriage sings,” Draco said in the blink of an eye the little one had managed to climb into the bentley and was sitting on the front seat listening to whatever Queen song it had chosen to play at the moment
“Draco you know not to climb into carriages you don’t know.” Elhain said it was interesting to see that he was as chipper after the incident perhaps he was just getting used to the peculiar circumstances of nearly being kidnapped which was frightening to think about on it’s own or perhaps he was just comforted that his papa and mama were there to protect him
“Ok! Hey careful! That is no place for a child to sit!” Crowley said. “At least not without me there to guide! Bentley’sssss not a toy.” He couldn’t help the hiss that came out it wasn’t meant to be a threat so much as the idea of a small child driving the Bentley while a delicious source of chaos was not something Crowley while stuck in a place where the Bentley couldn’t be fixed easily wanted to happen.

“Are you a yuan ti too? I’ve never met another like me” Draco asked trying to look around the glasses to see

How strange… but not too strange if there was another of him like Juliet or like Hades was to Aziraphale.
He felt his glasses tugged off by Skye who had woken up.
“Yes our little one Skye likes to do that, sometimes there his frec-hey!” He went to take the glasses back from the naughty changeling.

“Well I think he looks cool!” Arabelle agreed. “Who knows Draco maybe you’ll get taller like him?” She had come to see more of the carriage having put her dagger away.

“Curious, though Adam does seem to enjoy seacoast I hope he doesn’t take a liking here and combine worlds again” aziraphale siad that might just make the universe implode but one problem at a time
“So you travel realms often?” Elhain asked and aziraphale shrugged
“It’s beginning to become a habit I’m afraid”
“And dabble even a bit in time travel.” Crowley said nonchalantly.
Arabelle shivered. “Can we get somewhere warm?”
“Yes, I agree, you are welcome to staying with us in my castle.” Strahd said. “Standing out here while we don’t have to be too worried for anything does make my family chilled and I can only imagine it is the same for yours.”
“My Bentley can’t go much further.” Crowley said, “but I suppose that means that we don’t have to worry too much about anyone taking it.” He took the keys out. “I hope we aren’t expected to ride a horse.”
“No, just a carriage.” Strahd said.
Crowley sighed, “that is what I was afraid you would say.”
Elhain nodded a bit and gestures them to follow aziraphale took the opportunity to check on sky and miracle him an extra blanket which he snuggled into gratefully and began chewing on one corner aziraphale shook his head at their teething child before he entered the carriage as well he did keep the book with him curious about what it could tell them of this strange new predicament
SLEEPLESS IN SEACOAST (Multi)
Aziraphale was not normally one for sleeping however Skye made it very difficult not to want to sleep when he was going through this phase. Aziraphale certainly hoped it was a phase anyway, otherwise he feared Crowley may lose their mind. The baby was having a habit of screeching in the night despite that they would do everything to keep him all snuggled in bed and he’d be sleeping fine until late into the night when Crowley was all snuggled into bed looking so peaceful, it was almost as if the child planned it that way.
Then there was the constant shifting and trying to hide it on the occasions they went into public, one second the baby would have beautiful blue eyes and the next they’d be black as a demons and frightening anyone in sight (Crowley thought it was hysterical when a nun fainted when this happened once and Aziraphale had to wipe her memory of that afternoon to avoid anyone thinking their child was the anti christ, Vlad would be sore if someone tried to take his title after all.)
But now this was going on the third night in a row of almost non stop screeching from their child the moment the sun went down and he was running out of sanity to really know what to do. Aziraphale tried feeding, rocking, playing, soft music, he even tried queen to see if this perhaps as an accidental Crowley influence and there was nothing that was soothing the child. Aziraphale sighed as he sat on the sofa with Skye still crying in his arms and he looked up at Crowley, was Warlock ever this bad? Given they hadn’t been hired on until he was a little older but still.
“I think my dear it might be time to try a ride in the Bentley, perhaps to the Van Hellsings? They do have quite a bit more experience with children of the fey than we do. We may just have to admit that for once we’re a little out of our element with this one.”
Crowley made a hissing sigh, “I thought the Bentley wasn’t good enough for the little Fae spawn.” Crowley affectionately tickled the cherubic cheek of the babe. “Poor thing but I fear you are right. Caring for a baby isn’t our expertise. Perhaps between the Van Helsings and Shakespeare’s we might be able to figure out what to do to get Skye to sleep. Lord knows.” Crowley grimaced at saying the term Lord. “I need some. Might sleep for two days.” Standing Crowley picked up the carrying pram. “Shall we Angel?” Crowley offered a tired smile.
The drive was innocuous at first but the growing fog was making it terribly hard to see, “Angel the road’s gone.” He said matter-of-factly, his hands turning the wheel as a tree came looming out of the fog, a rather foolish thing to be a tree standing in the middle of the “road”. There was something under the car but it wasn’t a paved road as they bumped along at a steep incline. “What in the nine layers of hell?” Crowley furrowed his brow over the glasses he wore.
Now a tall darkly dressed figure that held aloft some unfortunate soul by the throat and seemed to be deep into giving a threat when their attention turned to the beams of the headlights and they took a step back.
Crowley managed to miss the tall figure but still got the victim, “not my fault!” He said to Aziraphale. “He was the one in the road not my fault!” They came to a screeching halt as Crowley hissed as he felt the two front wheels pop.
Aziraphale gawked at his husband as skye once more started crying and aziraphale turned to the little one in his back car seat
“It’s ok love,” aziraphale cooed softly to the little one but he continued to cry and aziraphale sighed before he looked to Crowley
“I’ll check on them you help skye?” Aziraphale suggested before he got out of the Bentley and hurried to check on the man who had been being attacked by the taller one but then aziraphale noticed the woman there as well, blonde hair and blue eyes gaping at him from where she sat with a child with a head of red curls and…scales? Aziraphale paused unsure what to say either

They’d been visiting mooncrest and the carriage had been attacked by cultists to strahd at first it wasn’t that bad until one had managed to grab Draco and all hell broke loose after that, then this peculiar torched carriage had appeared and struck the cultist strahd had been attacking and Elhain had managed to pull Draco protectively aside and now she held her trembling little yuan ti as the curly haired man in peculiar clothes gawked at her for a moment but she didn’t sense anything evil from them
“Are you alright love?” Elhain asked briefly glancing in strahd’s direction without taking her eyes off of the stranger and it seemed to remind aziraphale of the situation
“Oh yes we are terribly sorry, the road seems to have gotten away from us we were looking for the Van hellsings and didn’t expect to run into anyone out here” aziraphale explained quickly he checked the cultist and noted the peculiar dress had they stumbled upon one of Godwin’s LARP groups?
“It was only a slight brushing but I am fine, same can’t be said for the cultist though, yes, he seems rather well beyond my justice now at this point.” He looked to his wife and son and smiled warmly at Draco. “Don’t worry son, Papa is alright, and now that bad cultist won’t be hurting you anymore.” Strahd said as he moved towards his family.
Arabelle in the commotion had drawn out her dagger and had been pointing it at the cultist’s direction in case he somehow came near them and now had it warily pointed at the strange vehicle that had come tumbling through the mist. “Who are you?” She demanded.
“My daughter is right stranger, who are you? What had brought you here to this domain? My domain, Barovia.”
Crowley held Skye his golden snake eyes darting around behind the thick black lenses of his shades as he took in what was going on. “Well we could ask the same of you.” Crowley said popping out of the driver’s side gently rocking Skye to ease him to sleep. “Angel a little miracle? Just one? To help him sleep it will ease the introductions.” He peered over his glasses.
“Angel?” Strahd said eyeing over the strange but friendly looking man. “Truly?” He raised a brow. “A divine being?”
Arabelle lowered her dagger slightly but didn’t put it away not trusting them yet.

“Just this once, I don’t like imposing on others will” aziraphale said but with a snap the baby let out a yawn and soon was fast asleep in Crowley’s arms

“I’m afraid there is a misunderstanding last we knew we were in seacoast city” aziraphale said thoughtfully but Elhain shook her head
“Then you are very far from home my friend, I’ve never even heard of such a place” elhain said and gently pulled arabelle to her as well, just cautious enough if the peculiar strangers, child or not.
“Right…oh introductions this is my husband Crowley, our child skye and I’m aziraphale” aziraphale said and held his hand out to shake Elhain seemed surprised but she took his hand regardless
“And did you say cultists?” Aziraohale added it explained the man’s peculiar dress but not theirs
“Yes, strahd and I are lord and lady of these lands occasionally someone gets carried away and we have to deal with their actions” elhain said glaring at the dead cultist and squeezing arabelle’s shoulder gently in a protective manner
Strahd eyed the strangers and placed a hand on his son’s back reassuringly. “And believe me gentlemen I am the Lord of these lands and the laws of my people are mine.” Strahd eyed the small bundle in the other’s arms. A child?
Crowley looked down at the small boy at Strahd’s legs. He was practically the spitting image of Crowley if the demon had ever had the form of a child. “Don’t worry we aren’t here to break any of them. Well possibly any more of them. Wherever this place is?”
“Barovia, you are in Barovia.” Strahd studied the strange horseless carriage. “What is that?”
“S’a Bentley,” Crowley eyed them. “Don’t have conveyances like this?”
“No, we primarily travel by horse or carriage.”
“Damn.” Crowley muttered. “Some how we traveled back to the dark ages Angel.”
Aziraphale gave Crowley a sympathetic look, he knew how much Crowley hated the Dark ages. Aziraphale much preferred simpler times and had much enjoyed their visit to the fey because of this but Crowley hated it and had slept through the majority of the dark ages. With Skye at least Aziraphale knew he didn’t have to worry about that with his spouse disappearing.
“papa the carriage sings,” Draco said in the blink of an eye the little one had managed to climb into the bentley and was sitting on the front seat listening to whatever Queen song it had chosen to play at the moment
“Draco you know not to climb into carriages you don’t know.” Elhain said it was interesting to see that he was as chipper after the incident perhaps he was just getting used to the peculiar circumstances of nearly being kidnapped which was frightening to think about on it’s own or perhaps he was just comforted that his papa and mama were there to protect him
“Ok! Hey careful! That is no place for a child to sit!” Crowley said. “At least not without me there to guide! Bentley’sssss not a toy.” He couldn’t help the hiss that came out it wasn’t meant to be a threat so much as the idea of a small child driving the Bentley while a delicious source of chaos was not something Crowley while stuck in a place where the Bentley couldn’t be fixed easily wanted to happen.
Strahd went to his son and pondered at the tune:

Elhain stepped forward though and retrieved the little one as he looked to Crowley noting the hiss
“Are you a yuan ti too? I’ve never met another like me” Draco asked trying to look around the glasses to see
“Draco it’s not polite to ask such things” elhain said gently and Draco sighed and nodded
“I’m sorry,” he apologized before he noted the baby and giggled
“Mama his hair is turning purple!” Draco giggled
“What is a Yuan-Ti?” Crowley asked.
“They are a snake people my son is at least part Yuan-ti.”
“No, but I suppose close enough,” Crowley noted the boy’s curious Otay. “He really is the spitting image of me.” Crowley said looking to Aziraphale, from the hair to the teeth and even the… eyes.” Another like him? How strange… but not too strange if there was another of him like Juliet or like Hades was to Aziraphale.
He felt his glasses tugged off by Skye who had woken up.
“Yes our little one Skye likes to do that, sometimes there his frec-hey!” He went to take the glasses back from the naughty changeling.
Strahd chuckled, “he really does look like you Draco.”
“Well I think he looks cool!” Arabelle agreed. “Who knows Draco maybe you’ll get taller like him?” She had come to see more of the carriage having put her dagger away.

“We’ve met changelings before, I knew one that used to do quests at the leaky lich, she and her husband who was a Dragonborn used to love playing tricks” elhain said fondly and aziraphale realized he recognized the terms and his eyes grew wide
“Crowley dear do you still have that book Godwin left behind at our last dinner party?” Aziraphale asked though he was already going to the car to see if he could find it and when he did he was certain he was right
