The knights should get something with the crest of their namesake on, even if it’s just cuff links. Granted the crest of sir Percival is lowkey kind of ugly, but it’d still be a cool symbol and memento to have

This was bound to come up eventually, no matter how much Percy has hoped it won’t. The scar is too obvious- a sunburst of pale skin on the side of her neck that has drawn the shocked whispers of many passers by since it happened. She shifts uncomfortably, one hand tracing the sight where glass embedded itself in her jugular. 

“V-Day,” she says, her voice low and heavy with memories and guilt. There are times still when she is furious with Merlin for not warning her what was to come. Caution she understood, he couldn’t have known who was in Valentine’s pocket. But God. God. “I was in a-a busy area when it all kicked off,” her voice breaks slightly and she hates herself for it. Hates herself more with every second she thinks about that fucking day. It nearly cost her the title of Percival. She nearly wishes it had. “Someone had a bottle, got me right in the neck with it. Needed a blood transfusion and everything-very dramatic,” the attempt at humour misses by a mile and she has to look away eyes burning and throat tight. She coughs to clear it, forces herself to take a deep breath before she speaks again. “Could have killed me.”  like someone had killed her sister. Like she’d killed so many civilians. “But I was lucky, I suppose,” she adds and the words feel like ash in her mouth.
