A piece of my mind:
"They say bravery is not the absence of fear but rising above it. And it's true. You see everyone is afraid of something; spiders, heights, the dark, horror movies, bad exam results, walking alone in the middle of the night, losing a job, coming out of the closet, even things like growing old or being lonely. Even fiction tells of fear. Your favorite fictional characters have probably been in terror, most likely for most of their story. Fear is an integral part of life. We shouldn't run from it. We should face up and deal with it. Exactly as our little hero did..."
This is my favorite paragraph of my favorite book I've ever written, "Guardian of The Downworld (Let me see your eyes again)". It captures my whole worldview in just few sentences.
