▒▓ *.:｡✿ ❛❛ you must think me terribly foolish hunk. ❜❜ she says softly, her cheeks flushing pink in her embarrassment. dorothy was trying to help him by attempting to fix one of the contraptions him && the other farmhands use in their labor. he’s just been so busy with his many other tasks she wanted to do something nice for him. but dorothy failed to take one important thing into consideration; she has no idea how to work or fix farming equipment. this is how she has wound up with a somewhat nasty cut with a bit of bruising for good measure on her arm. ❛❛ promise you won’t tell auntie em or uncle henry about this ? especially not my aunt — you know she’d be quite CROSS with me. ❜❜

❝ foolish ? of course not . ❞ he gave her a reassuring smile and took a clean cloth to the cut on her arm . hunk appreciated her attempt to help , although he was more worried things could have ended worse . he then took some rolled gauze and wrapped it over the cut securely to keep the wound closed and clean . ❝ i wont mention it . ❞ he brought his hand up to his mouth,his index finger and his thumb pinched together as he glided them across his lips , imitating a ZIP zipping sound . ❝ might i suggest — next time you want to help , come to me ? we can find sometime a little less tortuous . ❞
