The end of an era. John's OS X reviews were^Ware some of the more detailed and thoughtful reviews ever written and we'll miss them.

I bet now that John's retiring his reviews Apple will ship a new Filesystem! :)

I'm glad I'll still be able to listen to John in a weekly basis on his podcast though.

It has been a running joke between my friends that I haven't seen loads of movies everyone should have already seen (according to them). Up to a point that, when someone hasn't seen one of said movies, it's they say that person is "pulling a Madril".

This post by Marco at least tells me I'm not alone in the world. Granted Marco has been involved in at least 3 successful businesses (Tumblr, Instapaper and Overcast) and a couple podcasts, but I digress.
