Withering in Nevermore Theory

ok so far all we know about withering is the death of the soul. And chapter 136 isn’t the first time we have heard of this condition

This might just be a TOTAL STRETCH and now I think about it, the raven might just be talking about it in a more metaphorical sense but I still have a theory. So the wild hunt is one of the many creatures trapped outside the gates of school withering along all these other beings. I think we have all heard the theory that Theo is the stag and that it might be a warped version of his spectre. So with this added information of withering maybe students who were to far gone in the process of withering were banished from the academy to roam the woods. But now the question is how did Theo start withering? He was supposedly a star student so what could harm him or what did he do that causes this? (It would likely involve the curse or Lenore)

or since Theo was such a star student he would also likely be able to achieve a second life. So why is he the stag? Maybe the second life is just being turned into a spirit that acts like an obstacle to reaching the threshold since the deans need players for their game. However deans like to stick by the rules and they might have not manipulated the meaning of a new/second life but then again they’re the deans and we don’t know much about them beside merry shipping white raven.

anyway I don’t think any of this will actually be true but it’s fun to try ALSO (sadly I’m still not done) the raven talks about eating spirits so he might be eating the orbs of fallen students. Ok now I’m done

ok so Into the Woods is my favourite musical and Nevermore is one of my favourite pieces of media so…

Lenore as baker’s wife

Annabel as the baker

Morella as Cinderella

Deans as the Witch ( Merry could be her youthful version)

Ada as Cinderella’s Prince

Will as Rapunzel (or Theo could be her but then idk who would be the prince)

Montressor as Rapunzel’s Prince

Prospero as the Narrator

Duke as the wolf

Eulalie as grandma

wild hunt as the giants (somehow?idk just roll with it)

I put Lenore as the baker’s wife since they both are more outgoing compared to their counterparts but now I think about it they could be interchangeable. you can tell I ran out of roles for Eulalie and Duke. I also kind of want to draw this but idk. It’s like midnight (LAST MIDNIGHT??) and i felt inspired by the Nevermore and Hamilton au. Should I draw it??
