im finally going to start my weekly blog rant. a few people have asked me to share my views on things such as fanart and headcanons and such. 

so if you have any other request please feel free to send your ideas my way. 

and also if you just want a good chat im up for that too!

I’m surprised that there are still fans who view the Hogwarts houses in such a one dimensional way. Fans who think that you have to be academically smart to be in Ravenclaw, that only nice people come out of Hufflepuff, and of course the people who still view Slytherin as bad and Gryffindor as good. I know someone who genuinely thought that my friend was a bad person because she got sorted into Slytherin. I guess the books and movies are to blame for it, but as a fan, shouldn’t you be past that by now?

I think if there is one thing we all [should have] learnt from the battle of hogwarts if that we can’t be defined by the colours we wear. The 4 houses came together to fight. on that night there was only hogwarts, and hogwarts stood together as one. 

it really saddens me when people don’t realize that the houses are not personality traits. humans are too complex for that, it’s not a black and white world. The houses are what they represent, but each individual student makes it their own!

I’d really like to be more minimalistic, but I have a large amount of Harry Potter memorabilia that I could never bear to part with. Maybe once I have a house to myself, it’ll all spread out a little more and look less strange?

I think the thing i hold onto is the fact when i get my own house i can spread all my memorabilia so that I AM ABLE to buy more and become just as cluttered, but in a bigger space ;D
