Had one since 2012. This is the new one I got for Christmas in 2022 (picture with comments for a bookstagram post).

To my defense, the 33 books "bought in 2026" actually include about a dozen that I got for free (some ARCs, some temporarily free, and a classic in the public domain). And most of the others were at reduced price so I had to buy them while I could, you know?

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

You know you're an aegoromantic repulsed ace when you love a romance novel in which the main characters live on different continents and only communicate through emails, texts and video calls for most of the story. I did feel terrible for them when they were so sad to be kept apart by circumstances, but I really enjoyed following their interactions with zero risk of "spicy" scene. ❤📚
