When referring to a singular member of “the Beatles” you’d call them “a Beatle,” singular. Y’know, “ex-Beatle Paul McCartney does so-and-so.” I think each member of boygenius should be called a geniusboy.

New record from geniusboy Julien Baker coming out soon. Geniusboy Lucy Dacus has gotten in hotwater for her multi-tweet thread on Taiwan. “Well, when I was a geniusboy,” says Bridgers, “I would only wear shoes when it was cold out.” I think it sounds good.
