Please help me. i found out my brother (who lives in the same house has me) Has been accessing my private information, including my bank account and my google photos, which contain several compromising photos of me. He has also created a secret folder in my accoubt which Cannot be accessed through any devices owned by me. My Own Shit. And I have proof of him accessing, altering, deleting, and obfuscating information and data. The internet connection here is not reliable for me. I CANNOT LIVE HERE. I AM AFRAID. And i am keeping quiet in order to avoid a major blowout in this house but I have been on the brink of suicide and he is aware of the effects these actions have on me. Ok genuine question. Did anybody actually think Chalamet was good in Dune (+Dune 2)? Both as people who read the books and people who didn't? Personally I really didn't like how he portrayed Paul, I thought he didn't really come off as intelligent enough to really convince me - but I don't know how much of that problem in characterisation is due to him, the script, or the direction, especially with how they changed a lot of other stuff in the story. Like I think because they shortened how long it took him to rise to power and defeat the emperor from 5-7 years to like, a few months, it makes it feel slightly unrealistic.

But then again when Chalamet acts as Paul, he kind of tries to take on more of a brutish/strong guy persona, which doesn't work when he looks like he'd snap in half from a strong gust of wind. Basically what I'm saying is I really didn't like the acting choices Chalamet made, because it makes Paul look like some random egotistical dumb white dude the Fremen worship out of stupidity blind fanaticism, when in the books he plays into existing superstitions (which people semi-believe in but they still need proof dawg), and takes on this very wise/sage persona.

Again mostly talking ab Chalamets acting tho it isn't helped by script changes like the North/South divide, making Stilgar a blind fanatic (which I didn't really interpret him as in the books?), and then also playing off the Fremen's fanaticism for cheap laughs, which kinda nullifies the terror you're supposed to be feeling at all these people willing to throw away their life for a ""false""" messiah.

The hahah look at their weird religious beliefs thing might also just be Villeneuve's frenchness leaking through idk
