let me elaborate

i was like 4 and it was summer, and i walked up to a policeman on the street and tugged on his uniform to catch his attention and very angrily went “excuse me sir, i am VERY hot and my dad doesn’t want to buy me a soda!!!”

and he held back the laughter and with a very serious tone told my dad “sir, can’t you see the young lady needs a drink?“ 

and i just stood there feeling like the most powerful fucking child in the universe

I cannot get over my ex. I am constantly depressed and he plays mind games with me. I have never been this sick over anyone and its been months:( any coping methods?

Some relationships are poison, they are toxic and it spreads through the blood until only darkness lives in our hearts. I am so sorry. As for coping, do what you love, read- see a friend, watch a movie, daydream. Remind yourself there are people that love you and there are things in this world you love. It will be difficult. But you can do this.

Keep clean from all resurfaced memories & don't try to rush the healing process. Heal at your own pace. Don't rush it. Let yourself feel the pain but don't let it take you over. Remember all the bad instead of the good. And whatever you do, do not let anyone tell you how you should feel.
