She’d talked to a few of the girls in the time she’d been at the mansion, but between work and calls to home she hadn’t had time to really befriend any of them. Maggie seemed like someone she wanted to get to know - and there had been an extra spark of energy in her since the girl had told her she found Luz to be interesting. On camera and in person, she was still very much the same person, confident and bold in what she knew - but that didn’t mean it was any easier for her to make genuine friends. So she was a bit nervous as she set the pizza boxes down, side by side - one for each of them. Nerves be damned, she plopped down on the couch beside Maggie and gestured to the boxes. “This place’s pizza’s pretty good, and I got your favorite,” she pointed to the box on the left. “But if you wanna try sin again, you can grab some of my slices, I won’t finish it.” Luz chuckled and flipped the other box open, sliding a slice onto her plate. @maggievanarcher
Maggie was a bit surprised at the tinge of nervous energy she felt at the idea of meeting with Luz. She thought herself to be fairly confident and hard to intimidate, but she supposed all that didn’t matter too much in the presence of pretty girls. Especially when said girls were as intelligent and level-headed as the girl in front of her appeared. Small crush aside, the brunette didn’t want her nerves too distract her from enjoying the evening. Eyeing the boxes of pizza, a small smirk dressed her lips. “I hope you got napkins. I’ve never had good pizza that wasn’t covered in grease,” she commented, sliding a slice of the pepperoni and another of the pineapple that Luz had praised so highly. “Since I know you’re dying for my commentary,” she teased, taking a small bite of the pineapple pizza first and nodding slightly as she decided how she felt about the new flavor combination. “You know, it’s not terrible.”
