Saint Dymphna,is the well-known patron saint of those with mental or nervous disorders or mental illness.And is invoked to help over come these disorders.She is also believed to help heal people with eating disorders and also rape victims.As she was murdered by her father for refusing to marry him.
The necklace features a blue tinted silver toned St Dymphna medal that I have added a pinch of anxiety relieving herbs into the resin on the back of the medals .The necklace also has a blue teardrop shaped Agate bead.
Blue Agate is believed to be a calming stone.
The blue coloring on the medals is inspired by the blue french Mary metals my great grandma would wear.
