for me, personally, i either go to in-person stores whenever im in east asia, or i buy them online!
the jirai kei subreddit has an amazing resource for jirai brands!!! while my favorite "name" brand is noemie, the prices may be a bit much so you can try your shot with taobao resellers (those who dont upcharge THAT much) or smaller online stories (would not recommend ma*rs and lizlisa personally btw their quality is kinda bad)
additionally, you must nearly always set up a proxy! many stores dont ship overseas directly. buyee.. japanmail... theres a ton out there you can use!!!
