So in college Adam volunteers for the local animal shelter because Ronan has made him an Animal Lover :) There’s this new puppy with platinum gold fur and really bright eyes and he’s super friendly but kind of shy. He keeps his distance at first but during a shift right before winter break, Adam comes in and this dog is SUPER EXCITED for some reason when he sees Adam and he runs straight for Adam and almost knocks him to the ground and people are shouting at Adam to grab him and everything is chaotic - but then Adam sees it. There’s a patch of smudgy off-color fur right under the dog’s eye and they stare at each other for a solid 3 minutes and Adam suddenly knows what he’s bringing Ronan for Christmas.

(Noah grows up to be huge and really good at herding Ronan’s livestock)
