I really like all my medical care team (except for one) right now which is shocking to me after having pretty consistent awful luck with doctors in the past + various folks I know have had awful luck

Even though my health remains a mystery, it's been sooo nice to have people who genuinely seem to care and are never patronizing, and to be reminded there ARE good doctors out there

basically the best thing any character can do is decide they don't want to be afraid anymore - in fact they never want to be afraid of anything ever again - and take action so drastic they fail to realise that this too is a decision motivated by fear. or to account for the Consequences of that.

being a teenager is basically just half a decade of "ugh I hate myself I hate my life I hate my parents nothing is fair everyone is mean the world is cruel I'm tired of it!! but idk i guess every teenager has this phase and I'll probably grow out of it and understand when I'm older" and getting older and realizing you should have been even angrier and more violent. And then people forget this as soon as they have kids

makes me sad that most YouTube art videos are about "how to make your ocs interesting", "how to grow your account in social media", "how to not make mary sues" like what happened to just drawing for fun and sharing it- oh wait I forgot this is the result of lolcowing people for their technical art skills and or clout related things.

we are in an era where people openly and harshly judge people's creative output because of the normalization of having a "freak" of the week. it makes me sad cuz as artists we should be having fun, not treating social media like an art competition or forcing our art to be "perfect" and digestible.

another thing is the constant need to market yourself and assimilate into a squeaky clean brand via treating social media like full time job rather than hobby you put your art on and occasionally get paid for. it's not a moral failing but I swear it's another form of art being controlled and governed by capitalism.

Absolutely love how emotionally aware my child is for a 4 and a half year old do not however love stubbing my toe on the island for the 100th time today and hearing "hey mama it's okay to cry! It's not okay to throw a fit though, and we hafta re-...we have to reconitize the difference"
