I'm on a fellowship, but need some help! I benefit, you benefit an the world will benefit, too!

He is only visiting.
Temporary traveler
No longer vicariously viewing
But momentarily immersed.
Vagabond voyager
Ubiquitously experiencing
The offerings of this tour.

Swiftly enamored by all
Slowly burnt by some
Esoteric explorer
Overwhelmed by the senses
Must soon depart.

Leaves in the night alone.

que siempre me lleve como un albornoz

Bridges to Somewhere
Everyday we're traveling somewhere.
Who can tell us where we're going
or if we'll return
to where we were
or where we're from.
Will we climb trees
to build a house?
Or cross the seas
to carve a home?
Look ahead
there's a bridge.
Let's see where it
goes.

Solitary Moments Vol 1
If silence is my prison,
then lock me {up}.
I need the time
to learn to breathe through the suffocating quiet of my mind.
But I won't mind.
Just give me [some]
time.
MJH (March 6, 2013)
Magic is all around us.
Sunday mornings
crick in my neck,
rubbed side to side,
lone poster on the wall
threatens to fall onto the mess
of the desk.
awake for hours with
an itinerary planned.
ink stained on my hand
compels me
to get up, make up
a smoothie or shake.
can't concentrate
on the tasks at hand.
go for a walk instead. MJH- 2/10/2013
A speech should be like a miniskirt; long enough to cover everything, yet short enough to keep it interesting.

Waking Up
Eye lashes slick
as they stick
to the thick
under the lids.
Rub one side
get yourself ready
sun shines bright
head feels heavy.
Trudge along
no grudge belongs
as you start with a song
another new beginning.
