I have made SO many bows this year that I had to figure out how to store them because I was running out of room. I really like having them all hung up because it’s cute and makes for easy access. The goal is to use leftover yarn from garments I make so everything has a matching hair bow. Do you have a favorite? And can you tell what my favorite colors are?

Currently going rogue and attempting to freestyle some fingerless mittens for a friend. Her work doesn’t have great heating and I’m hoping this brings her some comfort throughout the day. Not sure if they’re going to work out, but I am optimistic! (This is the part that will be on the back of the hand.)
Went with a green theme for my project journal this year! Probably going to add a few more small stickers as the year progresses, but I love what I have so far.
Slowly making progress on my first sweater of the year!
The front panel is done and the back panel is almost finished. Normally I’d be further along on a project by now, but I’ve been doing a lot more reading than crafting lately.
The reading has been nice, but I am fighting the guilty feeling of prioritizing a less “productive” hobby lately.
After trying several different patterns over a year and a half, I finally found a bow pattern I love! I love adding clips to them and wearing them in my hair. I want to make one to go with basically every sweater I have made.
Ready to finish this Christmas afghan! I started it at the end of November, but it got bumped down the priority list in favor of presents I wanted to make for family, so I didn’t get to pick it back up until Christmas day. I’m a little bummed out that by the time I finish it, it already needs to be packed away until next Christmas season, but I think that means I’ll just be extra excited to use it then.

there is nothing I would rather do less than weave in my ends as I work, except maybe weave in my ends when I finish the project
It is by no means cheaper to craft your own clothes btw, it's just that every piece is special and dear and well loved, and every time you wear or clean them you feel all the work you've put into them
I wanted to make a really lacey afghan that would be good for hot summer days when I want to be under a blanket but don't want to roast to death. After doing some digging, I found the perfect pattern!
I believe it's just called "snowglories"? I found the listing on etsy from a shop that sells copies of vintage patterns.
It's worked in strips, and I currently have 6 completed. The pattern calls for 14, but mine is way longer than the pattern said, so I'm going to need to adjust the width so it looks proportional.

I made a dog bed for my sister's dog to use when they come over. She approves!
This was my first time ever putting a zipper into a crochet project and I learned a lot. I will definitely be doing it again in the future!

It took me a year to complete this project, and then another two months to iron and frame it, but it's finished! Now to decide where to hang it....

Didn't feel like putting my face on here but I did want to share my Halloween costume! My crocheted version of Strawberry Shortcake, inspired specifically by the 2003 era of the show.
(I'm a teacher so I filled the bag with those old lady strawberry candies and handed them out to my students.)

Made an autumnal balaclava for a friend but I tried it on my sister's poodle, Dana, first
Had a bit of a crisis while making my Meltdown Sweater because I realized I wasn't happy with my color choices. Specifically, the green was just too yellow compared to what I envisioned so I decided to substitute it for a smoke grey and go for a more monochrome look. I'm much happier with it now.
Starting over and waiting for new yarn to arrive set me back quite a bit, so I'm hoping to finish it soon!
I did manage to finish it but I forgot to update! It's probably the most comfortable sweater I've made so far and I am SO pleased with it.
