what emotion do you most readily associate with your oc? grief. (i was also going to say compassion but sdfjkgkdjfngkdf in lieu of that take this instead)
does your oc prefer the beauty of nature or the bustle of the big city? the big city. she grew up in the city and it is rooted deep in her soul. that's not to say she doesn't enjoy nature; she'll enjoy a good hike through woods or up a mountain, a day at the beach, etc. but before long she will find herself yearning for the comfort of a populated place. the duality of being alone in a crowded space is something she will never let go of.
if they had to flee a burning building, which possession would they be most keen to grab on the way out? her book of shadows; the main spellbook which she wrote the majority of her notes in as she learned under her mentor's tutelage and thus has a bulk of her most used spells and other information. there are also old pieces of memories hidden within the notes, such as more personal notes about her complaining about the day, thinking of her brother, a few old photographs, etc.
is your oc more likely to be getting up with the dawn - or just heading to bed? varies depending on the day. there are certain rituals she commits to for the sake of good potion supplies or charms that require her to get up early with the sun, so there are days where she'll be up early. likewise, sheri has been known to be out partying until dawn whether or not the shop is meant to be closed the next day. sometimes she'll simply go from there to working again, sometimes she will sleep and spontaneously decide not to be in the shop, customers be damned.
what changes come over your oc when they are hungry? her dry wit becomes a little more mean in nature; less playful and more intentionally rude because she's irritable. because she's hangry. she gets better at catching it as she gets older, but in the early days of her twenties, she was a bit of a menace.
does your oc have a go-to insult when people irritate them or let them down? not really? for all her sarcasm, she tries to be generally understanding if someone does so. if they're a repeat offender though, i think she says something along the lines of "another grand show of work from x" with a very bitter smile.
where is a place that your oc will visit (or would wish to visit) when they need to feel at peace? there's a couple of places depending on level of need. day to day, she tends to enjoy sitting on her fire escape and watching the world beyond and below with a mug of tea. if things are real bad, where she needs to step away and come back to herself, there's an old theater that she's been known to haunt now and again that she'll retreat to. sheri will either sit in one of the audience seats or even at the edge of the stage (not the center though, it's starting to rot and collapse on itself).
does your oc have a particular fear or phobia? she's had a reoccurring nightmare of being trapped in some kind of tank and drowning for years now. she's not particularly adverse to swimming or being in or around water, but it does make her flinch seeing a fish tank or aquarium sometimes.
what might your oc wear if they knew they would be called upon to fight or otherwise be active? she's got verses where this varies, but as far as mainverse she would probably wear some kind of under armour with good-fitting running shoes of some kind. throws a jacket over it that's got plenty of pockets for potion vials, amulets or charms, certain spell components, etc. she'll be wearing an amulet and a bracelet for protection and amplifying certain spells. she'd tie her hair up and maybe even wear a pair of gloves depending on if she thinks she'll do much hand-to-hand stuff. it's giving city girl in an action movie, but she's trying to keep from being hindered by anything that's extraneous.
what habit should your oc really try to break, but almost certainly never will? never being able to ignore someone asking for help, even when she has the ability or opportunity to walk away. even when it's someone she despises. this has gotten her into situations more than once and it will continue to happen.
